Damn. I can't believe it's been about four years since I met all you guys and opened this thread. Whew!

Tons of new stuff since then, though not as dynamic. I plan on making a Marvel vs. Capcom display among others. Stay tuned!

Thank you for your concern Spidey. You're the only one I've noticed still hanging around the boards (Like MvC3). I'm surprised Rough isn't really around anymore. Itachi, FTB, NA, SsM, Assassin...this place just ain't the same!

Wooh Love those Hot Toys! How do the lights on Iron Man work? Is it easy to replace the batteries?

 

Hehehe, I have a Midnight Wesker on the way, been 5 weeks x_x

 

There are these little switches on the body that you switch on/off. One on each bicep for the arms, one on the neck for the eyes and one under the back right flap for the chest. Batteries are kind of a pain in the arse to replace from what the instructions say, but haven't had to yet.

I have been over at He-Man.org since I am collecting MOTUC.

I will try and come here and hang with you guys again.... i have been feeling empty without ML..... I still love all the Legends I own.... Lets see, I'm thinking about getting the Bucky two pack....just onlu because Cap is my favorite hero....

Those new two-pack ML's are awesome. Unfortunately, the prices are outrageous on eBay. Damn scalpers. Still would like to get Dum Dum, Winter Soldier, Warpath and Black Widow. Did manage to get the Hulk/Valkyrie for a good price though. That Hulk's going into the MvC displays.

I honestly don't know when I'll get to it (MvC display), might be a long while off still since life's so damn busy lately. I did just receive my Hot Toys War Machine and I'm still waiting on Hot Toys Wesker.

 

Make sure to post pics of WM.... That one must look awesome!

I also passed on the Hulk\Valk pack... I had no need for yet another Hulk...i'll try to hunt down Valk......

 

Unfortunately, the button cell batteries for both War Machine's and Wesker's eyes were dead on arrival (both brand new out of the box). I just ordered 10 of'em for three something bucks. Probably gonna be a pain in the ass to replace'em.

Also accidentally snapped off WM's shoulder missile launcher. Damn thing wouldn't budge outta the shoulder! Gonna wait for a few days for the super glue to settle in.

I'm envious of that Joker. I snagged the first HT Joker out the gate and kicked myself over and over seeing the ones they put out after. Especially since the newer ones have the moving eyes.

You could always snatch the bank robber Joker head on eBay to make it look much better. I know that's what a lot of HT collectors did when it first came out.

 

Was able to replace War Machine's head batteries. Pain in the ass, but not too difficult. Turns out Wesker's head still had the tab in it

Slowly building the MvC army, but some of the Capcom characters are rare as hell, much rarer than the likes of Toad. The proportions are off as well. Unfortunately, other than the Street Fighter figs, most of my Capcom collection is 7". Since all ML's are 6" and MS doesn't have as huge a roster of their 7"ers, there will be some annoying size differences. I'll try to pose the 7"ers in a fashion that doesn't off throw the 6"ers I suppose.
