Well really I was just hoping to see progress on the game since we didn't get much at E3. And since now we know he has a black suit (at E3 I don't think we did). I don't see why EGM couldnt have cut out the venom pictures and shown some awesome gameplay or just a article about what they saw. This makes me think that maybe yeah Raimi is being a bit touchy..

Damn, wish we had 4$ ones here too, ours are 8 as well but i get in for 6.50 cause i have my old college ID card and say i'm a student. it's expired but they rarely check it and if they do its just a quick flash, never check the date. Discounts rock. haha

I still dont know why they had to pull out the preview, they didnt actually have to show Venom or give away story details. They could have just shown what the game looks like and how the gameplay is and maybe show a boss fight with like Sandman or Harry.

Hmmm.....IMO there are several reason why raimi didn't do it

1 He just doesn't want to character to be shown until the public finally sees it in the cinemas.
I mean there are a few hundred ( or thousand ) people who saw venom at comic-con and all we ( non comic-con audience) have is a crappy tape that makes the paris hilton video look like it's gotten an oscar for cinematography.

2 The screenshots used could either be
- Not to the liking of Raimi.
Mebbe he's afraid to kill the advanced buzz when they come out with a crappy screenshot as opposed to the CGI creation that they're doing
- Screen shots from very important scenes in the movie
Spoileric screenshots with Venom which will probably show who's going to die etc

3 Least probable of all.
Raimi knew about the character being featured on the cover at the last minute and doesn't want to show him in in his full form in any promotional material.
Which would possibly mean that there will ...sadly be no venom in the trailer that wil be attached to Casino Royale

I was kinda wondering about the new cover story. They must have had to rush to get RedOctane to do a Guitar Hero II story.

And it cannot only be because of Venom, because it is possible to have run the article without any mention of him.

X-Men 3 looked like the best comic book movie of all time in the trailer.
