Iron Man 2 Sam Rockwell is Justin Hammer

I think you guys are letting your fandom for Rockwell cloud your judgement. Hammer was really annoying to me and my friends and the dance was unnecessary and cheesy.

No clouded judgment here, I'm not a Rockwellnut of any kind but he stole the show for me. Really loved the character.

Yeah no offense to Mr. Downey or Rourke but Sam definitely stole the show. I never found him annoying or anything like that. Throughout the movie, I felt bad for Hammer because you can tell all he wants to do is be Tony Stark and he just keeps failing to get there, it's actually quite tragic.

Yea.... he wants to be the good guy and save humanity... :woot:

Haha well he wants the popularity and obviously the women

That dance was totally appropriate. The character of Justin Hammer is a huge attention ****e. What better way to show it?

didn't realise rockwell was in charlie's angels 1 ethier

he also dances in that :D

I'm not either, but I think maybe I should be. I haven't seen him in much but every time I do he's fantastic. I need to hire out Moon.

I'd follow The Rockwell through hell and back, but yeah, he stole the show over for me too.

Justin Hammer is the Shane Dawson of this movie. But one thing I didn't like was that he looks like Austin Powers.

Probably because of the glasses. Maybe I'm just overreacting. Then again, I can't remember Hammer in the comics wearing glasses...

If I was blind, I wouldn't be on a computer.

terrible insult is terrible. :/

it was VERY good acting. Esp the part where he [blackout]lashes out at Whiplash[/blackout]

I thought he was terrific. I liked the way the character was written in and Rockwell is obviously an incredibly charismatic actor. Hammer had a big presence on screen in every scene he was in.

And can anyone remind me what the song that he did his dance to was?

average white band - pick up the pieces

i lock (type of dance) to this song all the time. and sam rockwell totally owned with his jig. and yes, i thought the dance was completely appropriate to the character.

any reason why hammer's palms were orange?

sorry have to bring up the dance again, my sister an I were almost crying with laughter as was the entire cinema. brilliant! I'd watch IM2 again just for the scene. it was cheesy in SM3 but here, I dunno it just seemed to fit better.

I wonder if the dancing was in the script.. or he added it in...
