Sand vs. Symbiote...Sandman vs. Venom

Okay. Please don't degrade my thread, I'm truly very sorry if this has been talked about.

In the end, it would seem the only way that Sandman would be destoryed is if Venom takes him out, and him alone. It would kinda make sense seeing as Spider-Man has not killed any of the villains (GG, Doc Ock).

Do you guys think that Venom will just take out Sandman? Like Sandman won't stand a chance? I think Sandman would put up a good fight against Venom, before Venom does what he does.

I'd like to see Venom and Sandman to go at it on screen. Man, that would be killer. What do you guys think?

I think it'll be an interesting match because it's not like venom stands no chance against sandman or sandman stands no chance against venom. Both are equally match. I can't wait to see this fight in imax.

Sandman is much more powerful i beleive then Venom. That one scene in the trailer, showed him in his full sand form. Sandman also can shape his body into any form, boulders,spikes, make massive hands of soldified sand etc. Not to mention he has massive strength in his Sand Form. So Venom might need spider-man mans.

I'd love to see Venom getting smacked around. That would be a "Live for the Moment," right there.

i actually think that Spidey will kill Sandman, and here's why. Due to the leaked pictures, it's probable that they're going to make Flint Marko, Uncle Ben's killer. That will give Peter a motive to kill him, and then the rage in the suit will actually carry out that instinct that Peter has. Soon after destroying Sandman, Peter will realize that the suit made him do it, which is probably why he tries to get it off of him, then the church scene, and so on and so forth. That's what I could see happening.

I think it'll be Spider-Man that defeats Sandman, seeing how theres going to be a personal connection between Spidey and Sandy. I can see Spidey making Sandman pay, whether or not this will kill Sandman is still up in the air.

How the hell did Venom "bite" Sandman and nearly kill him if the guy can reshape himself; I dont get that. Sandman in the comics is way more powerful but hardly ar neurotic and tenacious, hence his constant losses in the comics--but even still...?

Yeah, I don't get that either. Sandman shoulkd have seen that one coming and just made Venom miss.

From all the reports, Sandman is in the final battle. So Peter probably doesn't kill him halfway through the movie.

Spidey isn't a killer so Sandman doesn't have to die at the end of the movie, neither does Venom. Both could simply just be subdued or whatever...

Now, the fact that Venom and Sandman are in this movie, it only makes sense that Venom kills Sandman the way he did in the comics.

So no. Sandman is not more powerful than Venom...nor are they evenly matched.

i think that might be a little too far fetched for the general public though...but who knows...with the right context, it could work....maybe not the rotting flesh part though...that would probably be a little too graphic for the kids.

The symbiote affects things on a molecular...cellular and even psychological and telepathic level. Sandman stands no chance against an alien that can do pretty much whatever it's host thinks of.
