um...where has this been confirmed steelsheen?

anjow and miranda don't count as confirmation. that counts as a reliable information that could turn out to be wrong.

I think he should only appear briefly in TDK. I want that sense of continuity, but he shouldn't take screen-time away from other villains. Maybe just a cameo of him in Arkham with his leather-face-burlap-sack-head look. Nolan would never partner villains up (Riddler/Two-Face)...would he? However, I like the shock of having a villain long gone appear in a third movie.

he should have this kind of texture imprinted into his skin. As the burlap electrified it scored thin lines onto his face, in two 'patches' where the taser forks hit. Any scarring should invoke a Scarecrow design.

I like that idea. I wonder what would happen to burlap if it was electrocuted. Would it melt?

With the accident and Crane being exposed to his own fear toxin, I think we may just get the Scarecrow. Crane is totally consumed with the creature that he created.

No way. It makes no sense, even in a comic book movie it'd be silly.

In truth probably nothing would happen, there'd be two little black holes in the material and blistered flesh underneath.

But in movie land burlap could heat up with electricity and disintegrate before burning his skin. Or, it scorches itself into his flesh but it would eventually peel away, leaving a texture behind. Whatever, it would be cool because it'd look like two rough patches on his skin, like a scarecrow turned into a flesh and bone man.

Wasn't there concept art for a "stage 2" Scarecrow? Maybe they could revisit the look.

Lol.

Busted.

I was hoping for the subdifuge to last for a little longer.

I even added a hat. :woot:

that would be ****ing amazing, even for nolans realism. A crazy guy could think hes a scarecrow and wear the hat and all that. It wouldnt be any more visually shocking then Joker after he gave oral to a buzz saw.

^ For a major movie yeah it is almost broke because it's so damn average. A bunch of skinny rags with an 'evil face', we've seen a hundred scarecrows like that on screen before. There's room for imagination with the concept.

EDIT:

actually if you want to play it safe something like this would be pretty cool though. replace the scrawny frame with a big ol jacket.

I remember seeing this image while searching on Yahoo. I don't know where it's from, but damn it looks cool.

It's a scarecrow-gas mask. Now THAT is creepy. Btw, the website is strange. It's about designer purses...

I hated that thing then, I hate it now.

I remember that flying around here a couple years ago. Never very fond of it.

Seeing Crane fully decked out as a scarecrow could be interesting, seeing how he seemed to have completely checked out in BB and assumed the 'Scarecrow' persona.

I wouldn't mind seeing a hat, at least.

Personally I think he should retain the mask and straight-jacket look. Perhaps add a weapon like a scythe and keep him on that horse. Nothing too elaborate or "costumey".

I think they could use Crane's exposure to the fear gas in BB and the fact that he's probably incredibly pissed at Batman to make him look a bit more "Scarecrowy" in TDK. I'd really like it if they show that his mental state had deteroriated and that he'd embraced a more definite alter-ego.

i agree. The stereotypical scarecrow look seems too contrived, even for a madman. Although that said a scythe would be a kinda cool too.

Here's kinda what I mean about burlap textured burns. It should resemble two fabric 'patches' where the taser forks hit. Could probably have some blacker areas though.
