Then again it wasnt as realistic, because the way a real taser works his body would have ceased up and there would have been no way for him to stay on the horse. He would have fallen off and it would have been more plausible that he got drug away by his foot hung up in the stirups.
Well, remember, he was definitely seizing up. Perhaps not totaly, but he seemed like he was totally incapable of controlling the upper half of his body at least. It looked like he would've fallen off the horse eventually as the horse kept moving along. It would've been even more anti-climatic if he just fell off the horse and was left lying there in the street.

This is what Crane really looks like on fear gas

Lol that is to crazy. He is actually pretty as a lady lol.

I have to admit that I am looking forward to seeing what his role will be in TDK. I know it is only supposed to be brief but I am still looking forward to it. I was hoping they would bring him back if only briefly.

it would really be cool to see him try the toxin on joker and then an unaffected joker laughs in his face. i think scarecrow is only around for the begining but i could see that scene fitting .

I hope the Scarecrow has a bigger role than just the whole parking lot scene. Cillian Murphy did an amazing making Crane come to life and it would be a shame for him to only have one scene in this movie

I have a feeling that after the capture scene we'll also see Crane while back in Arkham. Maybe a court scene too, but this time he's in cuffs and an orange jumpsuit. It would be a nice bookend to BB and a great way to introduce Harvey as a courtoom warrior

I really like that idea, plus as much Murphy as possible is a bonus

I think he'll use his fear toxin to help Joker create Smylex/Joker Venom/Joker Toxin. It would ruin the fear element of the character if he were caught or killed.

"Vigilantes are the guys running around in Batman masks?
Since in that script, Batman rips the mask off and you said Joker hangs one of them and we have picture of guy with Batman mask getting hanged."

SPOILER....

Theres also a pic of this guy dead with a Joker smile. I thought it was a dummy until I read this thread and realized it was a vigilante.

IMHO
Ra's wont be back
Scarecrow will die

Usually the second part of a trilogy is the to make things are bleak for the hero as possible (Empire Strikes Back). So I think Batman will be dealing with more than one gang. Jokers, Scarecrows as well a various other mob bosses.

You guys have seen my youtube video of the scarecrow right?

I think he is going to be more involved with the mob takeover, the scene I videotaped is a confertation with another mob. If you watch the video and go back and see the screen cap of joker meeting with the mobs you'll see that guy at the table.

Csn you post a link please? I have to agree with doctorkenyon more of Murphy is definantly not a bad thing.

I HIGHLY doubt Scarecrow will die, if Batman catches him, which is an obviously thing from the trailer, he will put him in Jail, or Arkham if its all fixed by that time.

I also agree. I see NO REASON (no contribution to character development/plot) to kill Jonathan Crane/Scarecrow.... it would serve no purpose....

I heard one person say that Batman would accidently kill the Scarecrow and that would set Gordon against him.... but we ALL KNOW the Scarecrow shows up very early in the film, therefore I seriously doubt Batman/Gordon will be at each others' throats from the start of the movie, and I also see that "rumored idea" or "theory" as being pointless as well....

I don't think Scarecrow and Joker will meet.

I think the Scarecrow will live to serve more of a purpose:

1) The population of Arkham Asylum - you can't have an Arkham if there's no whackos to fill it with. Therefore Nolan needs to start filling Arkham with baddies...so the Scarecrow will be caught and sent to Arkham.

2) Freaks versus Mob - we know Nolan is going to show the Joker as being a "new class of criminal"... he's going to bring rise to the FREAKS of Gotham. Okay, so killing the Scarecrow would be counterproductive to this... Gotham needs all its freaks now if this story point is going to get across and be fulfilled.

3) Nolan has said in interviews in the past that killing off villains was stupid.

Yeah, so I think Scarecrow will live.

wouldnt it be rad if he somehow escaped from arkham, played another plot-moving role in the third film?

My older brother got tazed one time. We were talking about it when we saw Batman Begins for the 10000 time. He said that you freeze up but while you freeze it feels like your body has a million needles going through it. So my brother said that all your muscles tighten up and he can see why the Scarecrow did not fall off. He said that afterwards your body is mush so he might have fallen off while the horse was riding away. But it was to dark in the movie to see that happen.

Oh yeah he got tazed while trying to riot against the police in college.

Wow. As if I needed another reason to not get tazed.

I liked Cillian Murphy's performance in BB. He played the role of Scarecrow almost verbatim to the comics and sometimes being a total jerk.

Curiosity, do any of you guys know whether or not Crow's is still gonna be wacked up from the fear toxins in BB or we'll he maintain bein' ScareCrow and in control like in the first one? :brucebat:

I dont know.. but sometimes I feel like I am always on the fear toxin. Especailly when my brother and my dads new girlfriend are around. I always think that they are gonna do something bad to me.

dont do drugs:-)
no, seriuosly now......after joker has gotham in his nads full of fear and escalation....the prisoners all could get loose...wich is something i realy wanna see in this movie ...and batman has to stop em all while joker is rising...ouuuch he will get a lot to do....maybe we all miss this option that the big showdown also includes scarecrow...with his fear gas wich joker surely will like ....
or if joker uses his gas further to a next level ....without crane:o????no wont be very inteligent at all....but scarecrow needs to remain alive. thats all

I just really want to see what the Joker looks like through the eyes of someone with a head full of fear toxin... that'd be so dope.

haha that was good patty.. i like making fun of her too.

thanks for the laugh

I'm hoping he's gonna be somewhere in between, like he'd have a distorted unrealistic view on everything.

great post Greg Comic Fan. agree 100% and it's also just nice to see people thinking things through like that
