I'm disappointed in Scarecrow wearing the business suit. I wish they could have given him a trenchcoat or something.

That said, I'm not going to cry over it. It seems the Joker is going to be colorful enough in his attire to more than make up for the lack of a really cool look for Scarecrow.

I think it makes more sense for Crane to go back to clothes. Should he continue to wear the straight-jacket he broke out of Arkham with months ago?

I have posted this somewhere before but I read somewhere where there are gangs or people trying to illegally sell what is left of Crane's toxin so Batman will probably be trying to stop him int the beginning of the movie.

WHOO! This is fantastic. I am absolutely thrilled, because the Murphy was fantastic in Begins. Better than Neeson. I'm also really pleased that they've brought this level of continuity to the films.

Just because Crane is back in the suit doesnt mean he's anymore 'normal' than when we left him in Batman Begins.

I have a feeling he's full-on Scarecrow, but nothing wrong with a little fashion sense. =)

I really hope they go for the Gang War aspect - Scarecrow and his crew trying to sell his toxin on the street and take over the drug rackets, Maroni and his Mafia trying to keep what is his and as a poster above said: The Joker in the middle screwing EVERYTHING up.

Too cool.

Joker a pawn for Scarecrow??????? i doubt that would happen.........

and iam even surpised Scarecrow has a gang at all.... wasnt the muscle he had in begins actually falcones men......

plus Scarecrow in the comics was never really a leader/boss type guy....but i guess that kind of stuff really doesnt matter when your making a movie on it

Well, Batman Begins made Scarecrow my favorite Batman villain. Batman is really the only DC superhero I like, but I never really had a favorite villain. But yeah, Im pretty happy about this

i know it...and i said that my theory is totally pointless...:ninja:

gang war against scarecrow and "??" will be the arena of the Joker to get gotham city in his hands, and i think havey dent will try everything to stop him...and you know the next :woot:

^ well they already said that we will see the joker through the eyes of someone under cranes toxin, that already sounds like my favorite part of the movie

IMO

Scarecrow is fighting for control of the mob

Joker is part of the surge of escalation in "theatrical" criminals

The Batman that gets gassed from the recent SHH set report is a wannabe vigilante.

There are still more pieces to the puzzle gladly.

Crane could be selling toxins to the Joker and Batman has to find Crane to find out where the Joker is possibly. However it is just a suggestion

Of course not. Doesn't mean his wardobe had to be a suit, though - it wouldn't have taken much to make his appearance a little more interesting. A trenchcoat, perhaps.

im guessing we will see him in TDK about as much as we did in BB
Only if you're not counting the screentime where he was simply Jonathan Crane. He's not going to have a big-sized role in THE DARK KNIGHT.

If they team-up, they better have a good reason other than to defeat Batman. And don't have them randomly meet and decide to join forces. *cough* Sandman and Venom *cough*

that sounds about right. Expect wouldn't bats be more prepared this time like in the comics & BTAS with a gas mask's ? Instead of falling for the same trick Twice ?

Agreed, its going to be a huge gangwar with lots of factions vying for it. Love how Maroni will have to struggle to remain relevant. This ties into both Scarecrow and Joker being chemical geniuses. We've had rumors about "fear gas" drugs, so maybe Scarecrow introduces a more potent varient of heroin that turns the addicted mad.
