I was one of the people who said Scarecrow would be unscarred from the taser to the face. However, Darkest Knight said that when he met Cillian Murphy on the set, he had a nasty-looking bruise on his cheekbone.

I, for one, am very happy about this news. Imagine what the Joker will look like through the eyes of someone doped up on fear toxin...

We know Scarecrow is back but do we know for sure Cillian is back? How do we know that Scarecrow isn't just in the first ten minutes, and then gets killed off? The pics we've seen have him with his mask on, so they might just be bringing the character back to conclude his storyline from BB, and Cillian isn't needed because they never show his face.

Really trippy, is all I can assume! I'm glad scarecrow came back. It was a given, anyways. But, as i've said before, I hope he comes on-screen for more than just a few seconds, unlike the bite-sized scenes in BB.

Someone posted a set pic of Cillian Murphy without the mask. And various sources have said they spotted Cilian on the set, with the Darkest Knight even talking to him.

Mak took photos of Cillian with and without the mask, he's going to post em later hopefully. He chatted with the set photographer and costume designer too, possibly with Darkest Knight

Hang on, didn't Darkest Knight say that he had a massive bruise on his face? That's gotta be from the taser!

Apologies if everyone like figured this out already...

As much as I would like to see more of the scarecrow they will probably only use him to start off the movie

I just heard about The Scarecrow returning in The Dark Knight. It's one of the few good things I've heard about this film. Hopefully this time he'll keep his mask on for more than five seconds at a time.

I have always liked The Scarecrow, just too bad Jeff Goldblum couldn't have played him and in a Batman movie that felt more like Batman.

Looks like I was half right on Scarecrow's face. The bruise that DK saw could even be a healing burn.

I think Scarecrow has been reduced to nothing more than i glorified goon. a middle man of sorts...im not really sure how i feel about that.

Of those options, a combination of 1 and 2.

Although I'm sure Nolan has something truly interesting up his sleeve.

was that the part where DK said there was a bruise across the cheek?

i thought it was due to the scuffle they're shooting that night, but yeah it could very well be a burning burlap scar.
