what if scarerow used the toxin on joker but then joker just went even crazier and kicked and/or killed his ass?

That would be cool but they didnt film any scenes together.

The prologue pretty much GUARANTEES the sides were not made to throw us off...

actually the sides that were supposedly from that scene were nothing like the actual scene...for example, the joker doesnt put a bullet in the bank manager's head or say "its rude to stare", among other things...so i dont think the sides are 100% accurate. they were more just to see if actors could match the tone of a certain scene.

They aren't 100% accurate, but they seem to be a close depiction of the actual scene.

bkey, how do you know they didnt film any scenes together?

I'm not 100% positive, but Cilian was only in Chicago for filming for a few days, and the only time he was spotted on set was during the filming of the parking garage scene. But thats not to say he was not in a scene with the Joker that was just never reported or seen.

All of the elements were there it was basically the same scene as the one in the sides. The changes were VERY minor. The sides were probably fro man early draft.

Well maybe their scenes together were done on set in that airplane hanger where no one could really snap pictures.

This is from the casting sides. "Avenger" is obviously Batman. There are numerous set reports about the Vigilantes, and they are not working for Scarerow. Joker actually hangs their leader at one point in the movie. There are pics and set reports confirming all this but I'm too lazy to dig though all my stuff to find them.

Vigilantes are the guys running around in Batman masks?
Since in that script, Batman rips the mask off and you said Joker hangs one of them and we have picture of guy with Batman mask getting hanged.

correct.

i wish scarecrow got a bit more time in this movie....i mean we barely got enough of him in BB

Yeah. I think its fine though. Hes not a major villain and I think they've given him justice. Cilian Murphy was a great casting choice. Also, considering they have Joker, Maroni, and Two Face, adding a lot of Scarecrow probably would have made it a little too crowded.

Ditto. I always imagined his scene in TDK was simply Batman chasing him, then they get in a quick fight and Batman sends him to Arkham. Kinda like a "get him outta the way, but give him a really nice conclusion".

I'm not glancing at script or script treatment and I haven't read any posts in here, but could someone very vaguely summarize what has been RUMORED or APPARENT to be Scarecrow's involvement in this movie?

Hes involved in some sort of drug deal with the Chechen gang. They are attacked by Vigilantes, but Batman ends up capturing Scarecrow and the Chechens.

I think its too put closure on the character, and to also just help to show all the gang warfare stuff that is going on and show how out of order Gotham has gotten since the Narrows attack.

keep in mind there's always a chance he's not even in the movie..kind of like Christopher Lee in Return of the King...he was cut out until the extended editions..and I do not foresee a Dark Knight extended edition..I'm still waiting on extended Harry Potters and Spiderman 3 -_-

I'm still hoping for him to encounter Joker and be killed while on the fear gas...

my guess is that the Scarecrow will be the first scene with batman in it, cuz u see the White Van, and in the leaked pics batman is ripping the side open, then u see all the men in batman suits....which are the scarecrows men, so i think he will be in the movie for 1 maybe 2 scenes.

As I reported months ago....scarecrows gang comes under attack by the fake batman. Crow gasses the fake batman. Thats all I saw

I dont think this scene will be cut out. It introduces the Vigilantes into the movie, and shows the Chechens, who are major players in the mob warfare.
