Apocalypse Scarlet Witch Or Polaris

I hope Polaris gets intoduced at some point, since the character doesn't get much attention.

She was kind of cool in Wolverine and the X-Men.

If I may ask, why would Lorna be better than Wanda ? I've only seen Lorna in the few episodes (90s version & Wolverine and the X-Men) and I notice that a few fans seem to prefer Polaris.

bc Lorna is an X-character. Despite SW's origins, she is more of an Avengers character wheras Lorna is firmly rooted in the X-men. It would be a shame to utilize Wanda over her in the X-men movie franchise

unlike quicksilver wanda was really only X-Men character in early issues preAvengers,1 issue of age of apocalypse, and ultimate X-Men

Quicksilver wasn't much of an X-Men character either. Brotherhood in the first few issues and X-Factor in the 90s.

X-factor is an X-men offshoot. He's had alot more exposure with the X-line than Wanda ever did. Prior to DeciMation, Wanda really did not any strong history with the franchise

Well Wanda is Quicksilver's twin, part of the original Brotherhood lineup, Magneto's daughter (well was), and is a mutant (well was). You get my point. Wanda, Quicksilver, and Lorna are all part of the early days of the X-Men and can all justifiably be used

Yeah maybe Wanda didn't get to do much in the X-Men comics but Marvel included her in the X-Men cartoon series (Tas/Evo/Xatxm) and some of the X-Men games and she was always part of the Brotherhood in those mediums. So for the people who were only exposed to cartoons/games, they would view her as a X-Men character.

I think Wanda is engrained into everyone's minds as MCU material strictly.

Nope. I'm not sure how you think you know "everyone's minds" but you don't. Nor do you know what the studio is going to do. Fox will introduce Wanda if it feels like it. She was a big part of the early Brotherhood, the animated series, and some key X-Men stories (like House of M) so if they find a place for her on screen, we will see her on screen.

Think they'll go with her hex powers instead of the tk and telepathy combo marvel went with?

There is no need to give her TP/TK bc Jean has that and potentially Psylocke. Not to mention Xavier is a telepath. I dont see why anyone would think or expect them to copy Disney unless they are newcomers to her and dont know how her powers actually work

I think so, yes. And if they study her appearances in the comics, they'll see the sort of things she did.

After all, TK and telepathy isn't Wanda's power at all.

The Avengers version of Wanda was one of the good things about the movie, but it was way off from an accurate depiction of her abilities.

Regardless of the altered origins of the twins, I'm still hoping that Fox will someday decide to do justice on their family relationship with Magneto. There's just plenty of good material there. And it could be a good way to troll Disney-Marvel haha. Imagine if they manage to pull it off and it is well-received by the public.

Magneto's being a father of the twins was in in itself a retcon but at least some intent to do a compelling story-telling was the consideration, not a mere desire to undermine a rival company.

I wouldn't mind either being included, but having just seen SW in AOU, and her being one of the only things in that movie they did really well, it would be redundant to see her again here. I would rather we saw Lorna/Polaris as a new character we haven't seen before. Powers not withstanding.

Well Fox has the opportunity, if they ever introduce Wanda in the X-films, to make her powers interesting. I like the way her power were described early on as making improbable things happen. They could really make her a dangerous character and really play with what she can do....

well they could definitely write a heck of a scarlet witch, seeing how they've written pietro.

I could see Scarlet Witch being used as a counterpart to Quicksilver, like Wanda could use her improbability powers to cause Peter to come to a sudden stop during his run

I have no idea as to the plot of Apocalypse, but it would be interesting to have Erik, Lorna, Wanda and Peter as a sort of family-team in the film. If there is an "end of the world" scenario, Erik having to think about his children might be an interesting dynamic to add to his character.

I know we probably won't get to see this in this franchise, but if they ever had the chance to do an adult Wanda I think Andrea Riseborough would be absolutely perfect in the role.

I want to see Polaris!!! But I want to see FOX Wandas version.

I want to see Fox's take on Wanda. But I have a feeling they replaced her with Psylocke. Hmm, could she maybe cameo w/o showing her powers?? Then she could come back in a sequel. : )

I'm still on the Emmy Rossum boat

I still want Natalie Dormer for Wanda, since they're on the GOT train with Sophie Turner:

My proposition is to have her turn the X-Men's powers against themselves with her hexes like in X-Men Evolution. The general audience will just think she can control their powers and not think too hard about it, while fans will understand that she's actually inducing chaos by altering probability. Simple! And I say this as a fan of Lizzie Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

Lorna also tends to get short-shrift in comparison to the other two. So I'd kind of like to see her just for that.
