Apocalypse Scarlet Witch Or Polaris

Polaris all the way

Marvel let Fox have their glam rock quicksilver
least they can do is leave SW to Marvel

Plus, Polaris is just more fun than SW, she's got mental issues like her sis, but the metal powers give her the stronger connection to her father, an on top of that, the world just needs more hot green-haired women in our movies. Oh, and she was an actual horsemen in the comics, I'd say she shoulda been in this as one of the four rather than Psylocke.

I don't think Marvel would "let them have it," just like that. They just couldn't come up with something better than Fox. The funny thing is QS was added to the X-Men film to replace Juggernaut once Marvel had announced the twins would be in Avengers. There was definitely some competition going on there. What I don't get is why Fox isn't trying a better SW. They've always been able to pull off pretty decent female characters.

That's not bring that back up, QS was going to be in the movie I don't think they did just because Marvel did it it was already going to happen anyway.

I vote for:

There's probably no room for her in this movie. They've got a bunch of characters already.

yeah. i'm not watching avengers though, so i'd like to see Wanda in an X-Film.

Save her for another film. I would like to see her in the X-Men world. But in a way that they do MDay and then have the Phoenix come out of Jean to fix all mutants and then Jean be consumed by the power of the Phoenix.

I do wonder if there's, not an official "deal," but a sort of quid pro quo unofficial thing between Fox and Marvel. Basically, Marvel gets to use Scarlet Witch in a big way (she really does tend to fit The Avengers better anyway) and Fox gets Quicksilver (and maybe Polaris as well).

SW was one the best parts of The Avengers. Using Polaris can only help Fox because the franchise know her yet. I'm sure they'll embrace her if she was in the movie.

I doubt they'll have Scarlet Witch OR Polaris in this film (unless there's some sort of cameo); the cast already seems to loaded with characters.
That said, I'd really love to see the X-Men film universe have Scarlet Witch. "Avengers: Age of Ultron" kind of dumbed-down her powers and character, and I think given what X-Men has done with Quicksilver, they could have a really awesome and unique Scarlet Witch that was completely separate from the Marvel film universe. Her probability altering powers are extremely unique, and I think A:AOU deciding not to utilize those could be X-Men film universe's gain. Polaris would be a nice character to include, but I think that Wanda's twin dynamic with Peter, coupled with her unique powers, make her invaluable to the X-Men film universe.
I don't think just because she's already been included in the Marvel film universe means she can't be included in the X-Men film universe. With how well they did Quicksilver in DOFP, I think they could give us a Scarlet Witch that would be above and beyond what "Age of Ultron" did.

First welcome MutantX and I agree that Bryan could do a much better job of adapting SW, however, I like Polaris better and her connections to Havok make more sense for the X-Men universe.

but I think that Wanda's twin dynamic with Peter, coupled with her unique powers, make her invaluable to the X-Men film universe.

but that doesnt exist so its irrelevant to the X-men universe. Pietro doesnt have her as a twin. Even if they were to introduce her as some long lost twin sister, that connection will not be there bc they hadnt been joined together since they were borth born with he looking out for and protecting her. Pietro and Wanda cant and shouldnt have the same relationship here as seen in other forms of media bc the setup for that just isnt there. because of that, i think its the perfect opportunity to explore his relationship with his other sister bc Wanda isnt the automatic default here

Quicksilver is probably the most fun character they have done. Just extremely entertaining. But Rogue, Iceman, Kitty, Colossus, Storm and Cyclops have left fans always wanting more and not in a good way. There's no guarantee we will get an awesome Wanda with a movie this crowded or even later. We need Storm, Psylocke, Jean and Scott to get some attention finally.

I also don't like that fact that Polaris is just sitting on the side lines when they have Havok like Jaymes said. She's a great character and will be something new unlike Wanda who will have been in two movies within a year by the time Apocalypse comes out. I thought she was friggin awesome in AOU personally. I wanna see Jean Grey start owning **** like that.

While I can understand fans just wanting to see everyone, X-Men really doesn't need her, which is why they have not used her after 15 years and a slew of films. They can still explore the family dynamic with another fantastic character who is much more rooted in the X-Men.

Nothing has been established about Wanda yet. We don't know what the relationship is, but if Singer has pretty much intended for them to have grown up together, likely twins due to the apparent brief romance their mother had with Eric. Sure, everything is still up in the air until it is put on film. But Singer is still in charge, and we know his intentions.

Is it so much to ask to have the twins together? Already hating Marvel for killing off QS so quickly and cheaply. At least FOX can still bring in SW.

I expect we'll see Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch more in a new trilogy after APOCALYPSE.

I hope that we get Polaris in the inevitable sequel to Apocalypse and I would like it to be set in 1986, if not a continuation of were Apocalypse left off. Anyway, it would be amazing in my opinion if Maisie Williams is cast as Polaris, she may be a little young depending upon how they choose to link her to Quicksilver but it is feasible Magneto had another child about ten years after Quicksilver/Scarlet Witch. I think Maisie could make Polaris a little rebellious (and would fit in well with the 80s vibe) and she is a great young actress. Plus, her real life friendship with Sophie would add so much more authenticity to the teen drama of the new X-Men films.

Of course if this were to happen then the Havok romance angle would go although if Polaris is ever included I doubt they would have the romance as she would have to be in her 40s or around that age (like Havok) and I also doubt Havok will survive Apocalypse (He is a little out of place in my opinion and his death could prompt Cyclops to grow into a more serious leader-type.)

I watched a few clips of Scarlet Witch in Avengers 2 and I feel Fox/Singer design action sequences based on a storyline rather than just action for action's sake and that that makes them more memorable. So Fox could definitely do more justice to her and, no offense, but, for the record, Whedon getting his hands on the X-Men property could be a bad thing for the films. I still don't understand the rave over Buffy.

I have no prob with Lorna Dane. She has potential and she's a popular character and I'm quite sure the little princess girl is Lorna and the hidden girl from upstairs is Scarlet Witch. There is no doubt.

That said, I want both. Magneto with his full family. A film of House of M oh hell yea :)

SW was great in AoU and may be even better in Cap3, I don't think Fox would add anything meaningful to the character
Polaris would be more fun to see anyway, the tension between her and daddy, relationship with Havok, her own mental issues (which are more real and not the generic "she's schizophrenic"), a magnetic battle between her and her father, she has a lot more potential for the X-films

plus she's been an actual x-character for the majority of her time in print, so that helps

I originally said why not both - but now that I've thought about it, I'd probably choose Polaris over Wanda. Seems like Polaris always gets the short-end of the stick in the comics.

Would love to see her on the big screen, especially now that they have Havok here too.

I still think SW. I think if done well, M day could be a great film. With the Phoenix being how new mutants are created and mutants are repowered but then Phoenix goes dark and we get the saga

I definitely agree - House of M was terrible the way it was handled in the comics but I think adapted well it could really be a great movie that hits on some pretty good ideas. It would definitely be interesting to see the story potential they could delve into if mutants were the dominant race instead of humans.

While I would prefer Lorna at this point, I'd be very interested to see how Singer would portray Wanda's powers. She was my favorite part of Ultron but I wasn't too particularly enamored with how her abilities were displayed. To be honest, she was basically just Jean Grey powerset wise.

I liked the animated storyline where Polaris rules the post-apocalyptic remains of Genosha after its destruction in the far future. She basically takes over from Magneto.

I'd like to see Polaris and Scarlet Witch in Fox's films. But I do have my doubts over whether Fox/Singer/Kinberg would now introduce Wanda, considering her ongoing appearance in the Marvel Avengers movies.

Polaris and Wanda, both have been well developed. I disagree with most of you who are trying to downplay those sisters.

Polaris does not always gets the short-end of the stick in the comics. That's not how I see it. In fact, All New X-Factor was amazing, War of kings was amazing, Emperor Vulcan was amazing, House of M and Secret Wars: House of M was even better and Deadly Genesis and The Rise and Fall of the Shi’ar Empire, X-factor Investigation, all the X-men Tittles and X-factor, Exiles, Hysteries and even more and more. Many of you seems to hate the Royal family because X-men are now $h!t.

Look at where all the x-men are standing now. It left many reader unsatisfied. The Inhumans are the center now and X-men are getting destroy every time they show up.

House of M was not terrible and I'm sure it would be a great movie to see. Though I rather wait to Marvel own their rights back because FOX suck. They Made Storm look SO WEAK and killed off Cyclops. basically none of the x-men had a big part. Mostly wolverine and Magneto was the main character. Storm was so terrible since appearing in the film (here I can say Storm always gets the short-end of the stick in the film. She even got killed in Days of Future Past's film). I will not get my hopes up that in the new Apocalypse film she and the X-men will be just another plot device to keep the movie going and it will be all about Apocalypse, Wolverine, Magneto, and Psylocke. The Young Storm looks so bad that I don't even want to see her drain in the toilet.

I liked Cyclops, Iceman, Storm, and Jean, but now I got over them. I prefer to stick with Magneto and his family since their books are actually better than all those X-men books combine. X-men sucks and Inhumans are taking over as we know it. So I prefer for you people to stop complaining about these characters since the whole X-men combine aren't getting or looking any better. Cyclops's dead, Professor is dead, all the X-men are dead and didn't made it through Secret wars because they didn't. You see, the Extraordinary X-men, Iceman looks weird, Storm looks much younger, Wolverine is old, Jean a teenage weird looking and etc, etc. Those X-men are not the original x-men. They're different and Storm dressing like Emma is nothing new (even though that's not the real Ororo). Only Magneto, Rogue, Quicksilver, Polaris, Scarlet Witch and a few other made it through Secret Wars. It's the reason why Marvel kept Rogue, Quicksilver, and Scarlet Witch in Uncanny avengers. Even Wiccan and Hulkling made it through Secret wars because they are the same characters as we last saw them.

That said, ALL HAIL THE KING OF HOUSE OF M AND THE ROYAL FAMILY. :)
