Apocalypse Scarlet Witch Or Polaris

Still a horrible idea which I hope they don't do. Polaris is Polaris and Scarlet Witch is Scarlet Witch I can see them switching up minor characters power but them 2 I just can't see it. Polaris needs the green hair with the green outfit they shouldn't be mixed

point being they were still successful and i do not have to convince u or anyone why polaris should have scarlet witches powers.

It's a really bad idea.

Firstly, Polaris's name derives from the term 'polarity', which is a property of magnetic fields giving them two opposite poles. It has nothing to do with chaos magic or probabilities.

Secondly, Scarlet Witch's name references her power to jinx things through her hex spheres that alter probability, making her look like a witch putting a curse, jinx or bad spell on something.

Thirdly, this franchise gets enough criticism for merging and combining some aspects of comic book characters and storylines for the big screen. Turning Polaris into a probability-altering 'witch' would cause more trouble than it was worth among the fanboys who, even as I write this, are somehow finding things to criticise even in the comic-accurate look of Psylocke.

What this franchise needs is to be more accurate to the comics and consistently make fantastic movies.

Definitely expecting another Scarlet Witch Easter Egg. And hopefully Lorna in Poland

Exactly this

That would be the worst

Well, it does derive from Magneto's early history in the comics with his wife Magda and daughter Anya...

From Wikipedia (Magneto used the name Magnus at this time): "Following the war, he and Magda moved to the Ukrainian city of Vinnytsia. Magda and Magnus had a daughter named Anya, and lived uneventfully until an angry mob, spurred on by a first manifestation of Magnus' powers, burned down their home with Anya still inside. Magnus was enraged at the mob for preventing him from rescuing Anya, and his powers were unleashed, killing the mob and destroying a part of the city. Magda, terrified at Magnus' power, left him and later gave birth to the mutant twins Pietro and Wanda before she died."

The big question is whether any link to Wanda and Pietro is included in the film, as we already saw what appeared to be Quicksilver's mother.

I would hate it if those rumours are true...

Zero problem with Anya dieing but not Lorna

I don't know, to me it sound like you could get a powerful emotional scene out of that. Plus correct me if I am wrong but a scene like that would be the first time that we see regular humans commit hate crimes against mutants in the movies. Sound horrible but also could be a powerful scene if done right.

Well, in addition to four horsemen, the book of Revelation does mention a Scarlet Woman sitting on (in control of) a beast somewhere in there, although I'm not sure it'd fit into the story given Apocalypse is claiming the book of Revelation is a record of his past deeds. Then again, there's already a redhead in the story (and she's got a beast inside her). X-Men's getting kinda creepy.
