Scary Movie 5 Will Be A Reboot

Haha, I wouldn't retract ****. Now I actually want the film to succeed.

I laughed at a few bits, but I'm sure that was the best stuff the movie has to offer sadly.

Everything can't be TDK.

No, not everything can be on TDK's level, but this film appears bland and vapid. The charm from Scary Movie 1-2 is gone. There was nothing chuckle-worthy from this trailer at all, in my opinion.

So they pretty much threw Ted, Mama, and Evil Dead on there at the last minute.

What is this, I don't even...

I think they should sell the rights to this franchise back to the Wayans brothers, then the Wayans can do a movie spoofing all the movie reboots.

That looks so straight to video but it's not...

Also what is that long arm thing spoofing?

Went to see the Evil Dead remake then after snuck into see this one which I'm glad I didn't pay for because it is the stupidest, dumbest POS movie of 2013 so far, I don't think even if Anna Faris were in it would it help much, every joke is stupid and repetitive and done better and funnier in other movie parodies, only a few jokes got a few audience reactions I chuckled a bit but mostly rolled my eyes at the unfunny cameos by Usher, Snoop Dogg or whatever the hell he's calling himself these days.

If anything I'd like to see another sequel to Superhero Movie which just to let others know was not done by those Freidberg and Seltzer *****es of the Epic/Date/Disaster Movies.

0/5 stars, this movie goes beyond suckitude.

I'm not seeing 5 whatsoever. Honestly, I like the first two, but 3 and 4 had one thing going for it I loved: Leslie Neilsen. He made those movies 100 times better, and with him gone, I couldn't imagine them managing to come back.

Me during Scary Movie 2 to 4 -

Me during Leslie Nielsen's scenes in SM3 and 4 - :applaud:funny::bow::lmao:

That scene where the Alma knock off is about to kill Anna Faris and Nielsen opens the door, accidentally knocks Alma Knockoff down the well and obliviously saves the day is one of the most hilarious things I've ever seen.

I enjoyed both parts 1 & 2. I agree with you that Leslie Nielsen was probably the best parts of Parts 3 & 4 (although some of Anna Farris's parts were chuckle worthy, like the bedpan spongebath).

Without either Anna Farris OR Leslie Nielsen, I'd say this franchise is pretty much dead.

And so much for Leslie Nielsen ever playing Goodgulf Graytooth in National Lampoon's Bored Of The Rings. The only other actor I can think of who could do the role justice is also dead.

It's sadly not dead because it nearly made back it's budget first weekend. It will make a profit unfortunately.

It still underperformed. The last one opened with 40mil. I think they are going to take the money and run because the next one is doing single digits if they did it.

I actually thought that opening scene in Scary Movie 3 with Pam Anderson and Jenny McCarthy was hilarious too.

And yes, Scary Movie 5 is really bad. But there are some definite chuckles to be had, unlike the Seltzer/Friedberg 'parodies'. But I still wouldn't recommend it.

David Zucker... Pat Proft... WHAT THE F**K happened to you?

I was an extra on that movie. I spent most of the day hanging out with Jenny's & Pam's stunt doubles and got paid for it (and their stunt doubles were just as hot as they are).

With how fast they can fart these and get a profit i'm quite surprised to how they're not doing them anualy, the 5th film made half of what the last one did, yet it still made 3 times what it cost
