6 Annoying Things Hollywood Needs to Stop Doing

I can't say i agree 100% with everything on that list but it has valid points. Plannign a trilogy ahead of time is not a crime but the first should always be able to stand on it's own.

OT but holy hell how does someone get over 100 000 posts! :wow:
You just saw how. Complaining about people complaining and saying they shouldn't.... then running off to other threads and complaining himself about movies he doesn't like. Don't think too hard because then you might realize, unlike him, that it is completely stupid and hypocritical.

reboot - batman begins
remake - the thing
sequel - T2 aliens
adaptation LotR

there is nothing wrong with reboots, remakes or sequels but they should be made because they have a good story to tell not because they want to make a fast buck.

if they do a reboot, just do a good job. that's all i ask. don't just make it for a quick cash in.

Here's another one for the list:-

'Stop re-writing history when making historical war epics'.

Films rewrite history all the time. It's just Inglorious Basterds did it to an extreme. The film never advertised itself as being factual. Would you consider Titanic an inaccurate retelling of history? It's historical fiction. Same with Inglorious Basterds.
