First time I heard about rebooting a comedy franchise which only relies on spoofs, stupid idea about rebooting the cast especially if these new actors have no comedic timing.

Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan have signed deals to suffer horrible fates, including getting the ax, in Dimension Films' Scary Movie 5.

Sheen and Lohan will play what is being described by the studio as “the world’s hottest new couple” and both will be killed in the movie's opening sequence.

The movie is due to begin shooting September with an eye toward an April 19 release.

I have little hope on this movie. Maybe its because the putz's who did epic movie/ disaster movie/ date movie have tarnished the spoof genre so bad and not to mention the most recent twilgiht one. There just not the same anymore because most of the time the talent and directors involved have juvenile humor genes and that doesnt exactly translate to the big screen and not to mention the quality of these movies look like porn on cinemax.
