Schools can now do strip searches??

Anyone hearing about a new bill that passed through Congress, which basically gives public school officials the right to strip search students?

Funny story, back when I was in 7th grade some teacher gathered a group of boys from my class because someone had the habit of urinating on the school walls.

So the teacher tells them to drop their drawers and check for "wetness", TRUE STORY.

First they forced us to wear Uniforms in public schools, than they made it a closed campus, nope not done yet after that it was metal detectors??!! And now this good thing I graduate already, I would have gave a damn.

if schools want to fight school violence and guns in schools, they need to quit being reactive and start being pro-active...they need to get to the root of why these things occur to deter it from happening, rather than relying on dealing with it when it does happen.

Not gonna happen. The bill that was passed can be interpretted in a way that allows strip-searches, but I can guarantee you that no one is actually going to try it...


...until that incident makes it into the news a few months from now.

I remember in high school I was in Spanish class and some girl lost her cellphone, she went crazy and said someone mustve stolen it. So the teacher calls secutiry and a vice principal was there too and for some reason they came to the conclusion it was a boy and let all the girls off the hook (girls apparently dont steal) they they proceeded to search all our bags and pat us down. It turns out, her friend had the phone all that time because she left it at lunch. Not even a goddamn apology.
