Tory Magoo:
LA ROCKED!!!! This is a picket report, so sorry if it's too long.

London *may* have had more people..........but we had Jenna (Davey boys niece who is **wonderful**) and Astra Woodcraft (Also fab!): 2 of the 3 founders of ex-Scientologykids.com~! Also, Kendra was there in Spirit and signs (Great sign, Kendra!) who lives in China and started that Site. To you ALL!

CNN was all over Jenna...and from all I could hear, she gave a really good interview. ABC interviewed me, and no doubt the girls, too. CNN also interviewed Astra---so check it out, tonight. This is **big** because all the media that DIDN'T come this time, I'd bet many will be there next

Anonymous were ALL time great.......with TONS of cool outfits, again. I love you all, and cannot thank each one of you, enough! The LA gang are super cooooooooooool

Here's a funny note, too: We started at Scientology's "Complex". They had the road blocked off, and a HUGE "WAY TO HAPPINESS" TRUCK (24 foot at least) parked on L. Ron Hubbard Way--- and TONS of cops in front of it.
We call pointed out "The Way to Happiness Is Closed"

After a few hours there, the gang left on the Subway to Hollywood and Vine, where there is L. Ron Hubbard Life Exposition (And no, that's not "good PR", Scientology---we saw you inside, on a step ladder, taking pictures of us!) The joint was closed. Next to it is the HGB (Hubbard Guidance Center) where many of the Executives work.

Jenna's GF used to work there, and her sister is still in. They all 3 knew the guards, and tried to get them to "Bring out my sister" or "At least tell her I'm pregnant" (No, not Jenna or Astra---one of their friends who I didn't get her name, I'm sorry. Another really nice person!)

I also got to talk with one of the guards. He was standing there staring like a robot. One of the Anons said, "TR O". I said, "No---THAT Isn't TR0, as it isn't------that's a FLUNK!" From that point, he listened and looked at me.
I quietly told him my story---and he listened. I hope, for his sake, he can break free.

A few other highlights: Graham Berry was "served" with some legal papers---and he was in touch with the police about their street being blocked off. We'll see what he says, when done. EXOT 8 Michael was there too, as well as Astra's Dad, Lawrence Woodcraft. (He's super cool---and wrote all up about the Freewinds filled with Asbestos). For those from OCMB, Roan was there, I'm glib, Marc (Without his mask--and with his whole family! They looked great, too!) And "BTs2Free", John Peeler. Both Marc Headley , his wife, and John were all up at "Gold" and have fabulous stories to tell. IF you haven't read them, swing by OCMB: Operation Clambake - The Inner Secrets Of Scientology
and really, read their stories! Of course I was there, too We all had a great time. My only regret is that we didn't have a party afterwards>
Next time, I'm going to!
[...]
We then walked up Hollywood Blvd to the old Testing Center (the new one was closed, with one loan guy inside)---and then they went over to CCHR.
It's always truly AMAZING to just walk down Hollywood Blvd with signs. I can't tell you how many people came up to me, asking me what this was all about. When I told them, EACH ONE told us: "Oh believe me, I am SO sick of those people/Scientology" in one form, or another. That ALWAYS happens when we picket, and it still amazes me to this moment.

One more mistake I made, besides wearing hot black clothing, was I didn't eat before I left, and didn't really have time, once there. So my suggestion to ALL IS EAT BREAKFAST Before you go.

My GF was driving by to see the gang, so I hopped a ride home with her.
I was done for the day---so I didn't get to say "Bye and I love you!" To ALL, but I was just too hot, and needed to come eat, had lost my ride there----so we figured blast with her.

My thanks to "Mr. X" who was my body guard for the day. You SERIOUSLY Helped me, and I thank you for watching out for me.

I know many of Anonymous also protected Jenna, Astra and their friend,
so thank you to each of you
. They told me they REALLY appreciated it, and I know that's true for me, too.

So it sounds like the protests were bigger, hopefully there are some good interviews that come out.

In March, when Anonymous wanted like a single day of international protest I think, there were guys protesting outside the Church Of Scientology in Belfast. I didn't go down to check it out though, so I don't know if they were wearing outfits or anything.

Frightening, but effective (Dublin, Ireland)...

Everyone's favorite pic from Melbourne, Australia (I deduct points for the lame Furry ears)..

"We had ridiculous amounts of pizza. We were having trouble getting rid of it, we had so much - we were literally handing it out to anybody that wanted some. The homeless folks that lurk in Coachman Park LOVED us.
Anonymous feeds the poor. The Scienos just hand them Dianetics material." -Clearwater, Florida Anon

Apparently the Clearwater protesters had a run-in with actress Kristie Alley, who kept yelling at them to "Just try it!" (Scientology)

Sounds like you had a blast. :D

CNN was present for the first time at the LA protests & the BBC in Manchester on April 12th. Supposedly, John Sweeney from BBC Panorama did/is going to do an interview with an Anonymous member who was outed & had arrested by Scientology, but had the charges dropped on April 8th. Also, ABC News did an interview with Jenna Miscavige and that is supposed to be airing sometime in the near future. They also put a print version on their site not too long ago.

Anonymous on CTV News April 12 SCIENTOLOGY RAID

The whole Anonymous thing has made the National news up here in Canada, last time it was only covered for 10 seconds.

The actor Jason Beghe just gave an interview to Mark Bunker on why he left Scientology, and the teaser trailer has already gotten over 120,000 views in less than a day.

Apparently, this is making the rounds on the gossip sites.

This is the trailer for the interview:
--->http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=07m-IvvpK2E<---

Foxnews.com already picked it up, so this could be huge.

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,351287,00.html

The Jason Beghe thing is Scientology's worst initial nightmare, really. This is exactly what they've been hoping to avoid, and what Anonymous is doing a great effort in helping to bring out.

I wouldn' be suprised if some of the people involved with ED are also part of the whole ANonymous thing.

They really need to stop harping on the "Families disown you if you if you aren't down with the church." crap, because:
1) I don't talk to my family either. It has nothing to do with a cult. It's my choice who I interact with.

2) That is done in the major religions so often that it is just massively comical to even MENTION it in Scientology in the face of how it's been that way for thousands of years in other religions and none of you give a damn.

The fluffy Amish do it ALL the time after Rumschpringe.
Go protest them too....OR, stop focusing on that harmless aspect and deal with something substantive.

Also, the ridiculous masks have got to go.
I don't take any of them seriously.
If someone protests, and a bunch of false accusations are made, or a bunch of fishy "stuff" starts happening to them, it should only strengthen the anti-Scientology argument.

They're just dorks taking advantage of a societally acceptable scapegoat/whipping boy. :o
Note the one lady who's actually involved, and she somehow has the "balls" to show HER face?
:o

Wilhelm, dont you disown your family anyways because they forced evil catholic ways upon your childhood?

Television Star Exits Scientology

Tuesday, April 15, 2008

Television Star Exits Scientology
Ruggedly handsome actor Jason Beghe was best man at the wedding of "X-Files" star David Duchovny (his childhood pal) and actress Tea Leoni. In 1998, he starred as Demi Moore’s love interest in "G.I. Jane." He’s been featured in numerous TV dramas such as "Criminal Minds," "Numb3rs" and "CSI."
In 2005, Beghe appeared in promotional spots for the Church of Scientology. But now, Beghe has escaped the church after taking courses since 1994. He’s made a video that’s up on YouTube.

This is what he has to say: "Scientology is destructive and a rip-off."
He also says: "It’s very, very dangerous for your spiritual, psychological, mental, emotional health and evolution. I think it stunts your evolution. If Scientology is real, then something’s f---ed up."

You can see from the video that Beghe does not mince words. But his refreshing candor about the religion he joined in 1994 should shake the Celebrity Center to its core.
"It ain’t deliverin’ what it’s promised. It sure has not."
The video is billed as a three-minute teaser to a longer interview with Beghe that’s on its way. But the short video packs a powerful punch. Beghe still uses a lot of Scientology lingo like "OT" and "clear." Still, it’s quite easy to understand the point he’s making. After 14 years and a tremendous amount of money, he’s seeing Scientology in a different light.
Beghe has completed so many courses that he’s considered a top Scientologist, or "OT 5" — similar to Tom Cruise, John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. But Beghe reveals: "The further up the bridge, the worse you get."
He adds: "I don’t have an agenda. I’m just trying to help. I have the luxury of having gotten into Scientology and after having been in it, been out. And that’s a perspective that people who are still in and not out do not have."
More to come…

Wilhelm, dont you disown your family anyways because they forced evil catholic ways upon your childhood?

Wilhelm-Scream is just kind of an attention ****e. I wouldn't bother posing him questions when he's going on about stuff that he knows is deliberately misinterpreting the issues. :o

Anyway

Well it is on google news Norge: http://news.google.ca/news?ned=no_no
http://www.dagbladet.no/nyheter/2008/04/15/532571.html

From what I understand thanks to my 8 months in Norway studying the language (it finally pays off), she jumped off her dorm's window a couple of hours after taking the personality test in Nice, France. She had previous mental health disorder and her father, who's a health professional (and well known in Norway), will take action against the cult (in his own word). Apparently there are direct links with scientology and her death, since she failed the test badly and her father is certain that she would still be alive if it wasn't for the cult.

It's making waves in Norway

Wilhelm-Scream is just kind of an attention ****e. I wouldn't bother posing him questions when he's going on about stuff that he knows is deliberately misinterpreting the issues. :o
I think it's beneath you to try to characterize someone who disagrees with you as an attention ****e just because they disagree with you and say so. :o

I have 27 posts in this thread to your 102.
Mine are all statements of my opinion that it's absurd to raise a ruckus about speck in your right eye when there are three ginormous telephone poles lodged in your other eye. :o

Yours are all useful updates about a silly current fad that has latched on to a good idea like a bloated barnacle, peppered with incredible displays of bigotry and double standard.

I disagree with a lot of what I read here.
Is there ANY way I could say so, without you labeling me an "attention ****e" ?
I guess, to dissenters, you would just say, "Keep quiet.", right.
Wow, you'd make a good high-level Scientologist!

And I'm puzzled that you'd deem attention-****ing as something bad, since it's plainly obvious that that's what most of these masked people are doing, only they lack the balls to actually do anything. They just enjoy the fact that post-Tom Cruise, Scientology is one of the religions where it's socially acceptable to harass and ridicule them.

The exact same thing happened in the early days of Mormonism.
Now, it's established and accepted, and all of their past atrocities are politely forgotten.
the same will happen here.
What do you think, they're going to outlaw Scientology?
They haven't outlawed Catholicism, and it's done 50 billion times the harm Scientology has. :o

Unfortunately all of your posts just scream "Look at me!", so no. You're an attention ****e seeking to bring attention to yourself while making flawed arguments and selectively ignoring the reality of the situation and the differences between the things that you think are all the same.

Okay, you've just crossed over into i****-ville.

Almost all of these have been about how much more worthy of protest the major world religions are, and about the motivations of these...uh...people who are trying their damnedest to get global attention...(notice how...I'm NOT...uh...trying to get global attention?)
The only place where "ME" fits in is that I'm expressing my disdain...just like you are.
When you do it, it's "relevant", and "important".
When I do it, it's wrong.
Pathetic.

You've lost it if you think any of this is about me. I'm a human with opinions about the world and current events.
If you can decry Scientology for doing bad things, I can point out that, if those BAD THINGS are really the issue, um.....you'll find that Sci is a drop in the ocean.

The fact is, none of you will lift a finger to deal with the much bigger problem of the major religions.
Why?
d'OH! Because you don't really CARE about the bad things that go on.
You're taking advantage of the socially acceptable Anti-Sci climate we currently enjoy.

It's like you are harping and harping about how everyone needs to get re-usable burlap grocery bags, to save the environment...while you drive a Hummer to your anti-plastic bag meetings.

I'm sorry, but speaking up against such behavior does not equal "Attention ****ing".

And I've clicked on some links, purported to "expose" Scientology...and they were effing laughable.
The one where they show a room with a bunch of bunk beds!
OMG! The huMANity!
It looked exactly like Camp Utaba where my Christian school made us go for conditioning. :o

I also wanted to add...my "proof" that this all directly attributable to Tom Cruise's notoriety and media meltdown, creating a fun "Yay! We can attack a religion and paint it with a broad brush and no one will take issue!" climate...is that, I'm old.

I have been hearing every single accusation made about Scientology, that I'm hearing today, since the LATE NINETEEN SEVENTIES...THIRTY years ago.
Why all of the "action" now?

Where is the "Islam Kills" thread?
The reason I take issue is, it's like you're saying that in your neighborhood, if on your block, crazy Old Man MacGruder is making child pornography...you'll raise a stink and call the cops and paint his door with a "Child Molester Lives Here" banner...

But if TEN people on your block are involved in a child pornography ring, and the mayor and the chief of police CO-STAR in the child pornography, you'd say, "Eh, the problem's too big." and wouldn't do a thing about it.

...because it's fun, and easy, to just pick on Old Man MacGruder, because NObody likes HIM. :o

We've had all these discussions before, Wilhelm-Scream. Go form your own personal army to take down every form of organized religion and leave people alone.

Anyway guys.

Mike Henderson, Ex-OT8 scientologist, speaks at Clearwater's Operation Reconnect about his (and his family) experiences with the $cientology Disconection Policy:

Bunker comments on the Beghe interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvpmsbUER-A

That guy spent 1.8 Million dollars in Scientology.
Todd Macfarlane spent 3 Million dollars for Mark McGwire's 70th home run baseball.
People are indeed stupid.

Too true. *Rushes out to pre order the Collectors Edition of MGS4 AND the Regular Edition* :o

Youtube, no doubt under threats/pressure from Scientology, has suspended Emmy Award Winner Mark Bunkers account right before he was going to upload the full interview with Jason Beghe.

Which is honestly just going to Backfire because it's stuff like this that only motivates Anonymous. I'm pretty sure that his account will go back up in a short period of time, but we'll see.
