Netflix does occasionally like for Stranger Things and The Haunting of Hill House. I’m sure if there’s enough fan outcry, they will.
Maybe. They didn't for Roma from what I can tell and a lot of their other big movies.Netflix does occasionally like for Stranger Things and The Haunting of Hill House. I’m sure if there’s enough fan outcry, they will.
Martin Scorsese Doesn't Think Marvel Movies Are Cinema
“I don’t see them. I tried, you know? But that’s not cinema. Honestly, the closest I can think of them, as well made as they are, with actors doing the best they can under the circumstances, is theme parks. It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”
Has he been crucified by the horde of hardcore MCU fanboys yet?

Not towards a human being but it’s still as or even more impressive when you have to emote towards a talking raccoon which isn’t even there to begin with.It isn’t the cinema of human beings trying to convey emotional, psychological experiences to another human being.”

i think they asked him about marvel movies. Like asked Cameron and Spielberg. While I can agree that Marvel-movies are kind of like theme parks it feels odd attacking Marvel specifically. Pretty much everything in Hollywood that's designed to be a blockbuster has been following more or less the same formula since Star Wars in 1977.
Sarcasm, I hope.If Marvel movies aren't cinema, why is he copying our James Gunn by putting licensed music in scenes? Gotcha.
Why is he following in the footsteps of Endgame and making movies three hours long? Owned, Boomer.
