Well, Nemesis is a master of disguise. And it would fit Eastwood's comment that "you'll never see [him] coming" or whatever it was.

I just don't see Batman not wanting to know what's going on with the Squad.

Especially if Batman is the one responsible for capturing most of the Squad.

And he can take Katana later on...segueway into the Outsiders.

:o

I'm gonna go with Nemesis. just makes sense to me.

Nemesis was apparently killed in the helicopter crash that killed the Council's leader, though he was later revealed to have survived, thanks to Amanda Waller and Rick Flag. He then became one of the few non-criminal members of the Suicide Squad as a means of paying off what he perceived as a debt. Nemesis became an occasional member of the Suicide Squad, assisting them from time to time, and fell in love with one of their members, Nightshade.

And Nemesis's gimmick is that he's a master of disguise.

Anything to the rumor that Eastwood is....

Green Arrow/Oliver Queen?

Unless....

he somehow survives that bomb that went off over his head. He was just a nameless soldier. I was hoping for Deathstroke.

I'm wondering why did El Mayimbe posted a picture of Deathstroke after he saw the movie.

Well here's what I wondered when watching that scene....

[BLACKOUT]Directional charge or sacrificial play?[/BLACKOUT]

Eh Maybe stirring things up with guesswork again. If he were anybody worthwhile he would have had a role to suit. I've seen Redshirts on Star Trek with more presence than he had in SS.

So was Eastwood really a nobody in this film with not much of a role?

He had more of a role than [blackout]Slipknot[/blackout]. Eastwood was just a nameless soldier and who was the only vocal member of the SEALs.

It was the definition of a bit part.

What was all the Deathstroke BS about?

Just goes to show that over half the rumors that get reported about these movies are absolute nonsense.

So he really was the Man With No Name? And this thread title turned out to be accurate?

The character does have a name in the film. His character is credited as Lt. GQ Edwards.

I don't remember ever actually hearing his name in the film, but there it is.

Well, Clint Eastwood's character in the Dollar Trilogy has different nicknames in each film, eg "Joe", "Manco", "Blondie". But he's known as the Man With No Name.

So if Scott Eastwood isn't ever referred to by the name in the credits, then the Man With No Name is the most appropriate.
