All of those kids are over 14. Sidney lost her virginity in the first movie, which takes place in 1996.

It's not an important subject in the movie, but I wonder if they'll mention the Stab movies. I think it would be kind of funny if we find out that the Stab movies went on to have a whole bunch of crappy straight-to-DVD sequels.

That's part of the plot. If you look around the class room there's a bunch of posters for later Stab movies. Courteney also said in one interview in her boredom in Woodsboro, Gale actually wrote all the books these crappy sequels were based on.

2 most likely. 1 is silly and one of my main problems with Scream 3. There's no way Roman could've pulled all that off by himself.

I think two is the best way to go . They might use the silent partner card like the saw series did though in the following sequels .

Two does seem to make the most sense for these movies. Any more and things can start getting out of control trying to make sense of all the pieces.
