Scream 4!!!!!

They said the gore level is in the level of Sweeney Todd or H2, if less realistic. No direct details about deaths have been given. Apparently everyone who saw the movie had to sign papers not to speak much about the actual details of the film. I know there was said to be a death that includes a ceiling fan and one where a defibrillator comes into play.

Where is this info coming from?

Pretty much everyone said this, even the one jerk who says it was worse than Scream 3, which sorta makes no sense, but whatever.

Run Time is apparently around an hour and 40 to 50 minutes. But general conseus is Scream 4 is a success. :D

Spoiler that will make everyone happy. In the credits Kevin Williamson IS listed as the one sole writer for Scream 4.
Awesome! :up::up::up:

It's good to hear the reception from the screening has been mostly positive. I hope the movie will be much better than Scream 2 and 3, and a worthy follow-up to the original.

I think it could be better than 3. For one thing Williamson is back so that already has a one up.

Yep, that's the one thing that instills me with faith in this movie the most. I hope we go back to the tone and style of the first two movies.

Yes! A good positively receipted horror film! My first theater experience of a Scream film might be great!

It's looking good so far . I remember the first time seeing Scream I had no idea what it was , no preview or anything , my parents were going so I went with them. It's really cool seeing with an audience that's into it like I did with Scream 2 and 3.

Nice to hear the test screening went well.

Scream 4 will be my first horror film in a theater. One that I actually have a good feeling about.

Looking back on the middle school/freshman years...I was a dumb ass!

Movies I saw included: One Missed Call, Shutter, Epic Movie(yes its a horror film). Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street both disappointed me.

This world needs a good horror film to lighten the sky and rid the darkness full of mediocrity, ****, and failure.

Scream 4 will be the first Scream film I see in theaters. I'm very excited for it.

I have seen them all in theaters. I liked them back in the day, of course, but as a person who now understands film a lot more than I did back in the 90's (when I was barely a teenager), I appreciate this series much more now than ever. It's truly unique amongst horror franchises.

They must've been fun movies to experience in theaters, especially with a full house, I'm sure. Even though I only really like the first film (I just could never get into Scream 2 or 3, for some reason. Neither one IMO lives up to the awesomeness of the original), I am optimistic that this movie will turn out to be a great revival for the series and will be a lot of fun to see in the theater and see how it pokes fun at modern 2000s-era Horror films and cliches.

I'm really looking forward to them poking fun at the new era of horror like Punisher said. That will be interesting.

What were the reactions like in the theater for all three?

I could tell you mine . The first Scream everyone seemed to take it in as a serious horror film but they laughed at all Stu's lines and thought Tatum's death was gruesome.

The second Scream was like a madhouse , probably one of the liveliest crowds I've ever been in for a film . Only one guy behind me didn't like the film , when Randy got killed his reaction was "no way he would bleed that much". When they carted Dewey out at the end everyone was cheering though , it was funny .

Scream 3 was kind of opposite ..either people were in there just because or trying to figure things out. I wish I saw it on opening night with a crowd that was more into it. There was a small group of us who marked out at the Jay and Silent Bob cameo.

Maybe he took something to slow or weaken his pulse/heart rate before then, preparing in case he was checked?

See - I thought I heard somewhere he had a belt tied tight on his arm under his shirt cutting off circulation.

But that's not what urks me. What urks me is that Gale actually checked his pulse. Any other time in this series if you saw someone laying somewhere stabbed and bloodied you would just frigging run and scream. Never....EVER would anyone check to see if they were alive.

I blame Ehren Kruger. And shame on Wes for following that.

And on main discussion was too young when the first movies came out. Had to BEG to go see them. Wasn't allowed.

Only got to see Scream 3 when I was 14 in theater.

Can't wait to rock the midnight showing on this one tho.
