Screen Used X-3 costume parts...Pics

There was a great display from the effects house that did the costume and prosthetic work for X-3 at the IMATS in Pasadena this past weekend.

To my complete joy....I was able to get real close to these guys. What a treat.

I do have more pics, and I'm trying to find them. Angel's wings were cool too.

And a few others...not XMen related...but great eye candy just the same. Mods...I hope this is cool posted in here.


From Jordu Shell's table. Very nice guy, and the best way to discribe him is raw...raw talent. His work was pretty impressive. I've seen it on the web for years but to see it in person was quite a treat, as was meeting him.

Wow, I'd love to be able to see stuff like that in the flesh, but sadly nothing like that ever comes around my part of the world. :/

The Beast bust is quite creepy. It looks like they've severed off Kelsey Grammars upper half and placed it on display.

Probably not. Unless they are 110% sure that there wont be any other X-Movies (which contrary to what they've been saying, I think there will. Never before has a Hollywood movie house turned their back on a potential profit) they will keep a hold of them incase they need them.

Why would they? It is more about the effects they did on the other mutants .. not sure why they would do anything about him.

And that is really disturbing having the head of Beast there.... eerie!

The wings looked awesome. They were the static ones. Closed position. Awesome stuff.
I have more pics...but fear I erased them instead of downloading them by accident...
Computers or anything with buttons doesnt seem to agree with me.

Colossus was real nice. It was the hero helmet, not the stunt.. and yes, it would have been cool to see the rest of the armor parts to that costume. I'm a big fan of this sort of work.

Oh and Jordu Shell has worked on films like MiB and Hellboy. He's one of the best in the business. His custom work shown above looked like it was breathing in person.
