From a guy at the IMDB boards.

Hi guys,

I am not a big fan of movies like this, but HULK was great. I saw it yesterday (business screening) and it delivered from start to finish. It is a great pace throughout, a back-to-the-basics story, solid acting and loads of action.

Its way better than the first film and Hulk will be back at the box office big time.

If you are a fan you'll love it and if you are not you probably wouldn't see it anyway, right?

I am not going to spoil the story for you, but there are some very nice scenes and look for special treats here and there, that made me go "coool!" and I usually never do that. :)

He looks credible from his profile. Anyway, doesn't tell much but it's encouraging news.

Whatever... it's one dude's opinion... might even be BS. I am not going to be shocked if this film is received well... is it going to be received Iron Man well? That's a whole other question.

So, are some of you just going to crap on anything positive about this movie, and cheer if you read something negative?

Whatever, it's one dude's opinion? What do you want from people? Milk, cookies and a cozy blankie? Damn Tonie, what will it take to get you to agree that it will be positive when someone reiviews it as such? A horse's head in yer bed, huh tough guy? Tough crowd.

LOL...this is great. When someone posts a detailed and negative review of a comic book movie before it comes to theaters, people crap all over it for the sheer fact that it's negative. and the reviewer usually ends up being somewhat vindicated.

and yet when there is a positive not so detailed review of a comic book movie before it comes to theaters and someone shows well deserved skepticism, everyone basically calls that person Judas or a moron.

get a life people! you should be skeptical until it's several review from solid sources! christ!

So, anyone know where this screening took place? Or are we dealing with a positive overactive fan imagination here?

Yup, to be fair here, whether it be positive or negative, until there is some corroboration to any alleged screenings I'd take any review based on them with a pinch of salt.

Of course, most here would like this good review to be true, but we'll see soon enough.

Hey, at least there was no mention of Batman. That adds credibility right there.

He says a business screening, maybe he's in the theater business or something? Either way the guy seems very credible, he's barely posted anything with his imdb account in the last 2 years.

So it's not some fanboy or troll that's for sure.

Well, thats a bit cool that the guy isn't rampant as far as posting B.S.. Lets see if anymore screening reports pop up over the next couple days if prints are showing.

I get the feeling the guy is telling the truth,so I believe him.
:yay:

I can't wait until we start getting the reviews in :yay:.

Just to make sure I understand what you're saying here:

If it's a negative review, we should not voice skepticism.
If it's a positive review, we should voice skepticism.

After 2003 Hulk...I'll take any positive I can get. ;)

Damn, nothing for Orlando yet. I'm 99% they'll have something at Universal here in the next week, but I've heard nothing yet.

I haven't come across anything for Orlando yet but I'm sure there will be something. :bh:

I always prepare for the worst. I am sorry but I just can't help myself. After what we got with X-3 and SM3... anything good comic book film is a bonus for me but I got to see it first to believe it. I never go into one of these types of films expecting Oscar material. It's just a movie and I always keep things in perspective. But I am a perfectionist when I rate these highly anticipated films/favorite franchises/comic genre films and I need to see more of these reviews before I can breath more easily.

I'm sending my wife to get tickets for the Raleigh show since you have to be there at 12:30 to pick them up and I don't know if my boss would be happy with that excuse.

The official Hollywood premier is June 8th.

I know some guys at Regal. I can get the heads up on advanced screenings. Lemme know.

I understand that, but I just wanna give these guys some slack and time to give us their reviews without chopping them off at the knees. It would be so cool if all this led to the best Hulk movie ever!

i get to see this movie on monday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

You better write a detailed review, complete with crowd reactions!
