His lack of heat is down to being 1 dimensional and not working the crowd during his matches.

He'll probably be better off as a face then much like Jack Swagger who badly needs to turn.

I don't mind this. He was great as a face. Shame he had to turn heel for educated fans to jump on the bandwagon.

I actually think WrestleMania 30 in MSG is the ideal place for Punk vs Austin as the arena is suited to both guys, where as Cena in MSG is a heat magnet for the wrong reasons.

True. Its just that after WM 20 being tarnished (Goldberg Vs. Lesnar being a letdown and the main event being ignored). WM 30 needs a larger than life main event to make up for it. I nominated Cena Vs. Undertaker because its the biggest match I can think of and Cena is pretty much the only guy that has a legitimate shot at ending the Streak, which is something I'm torn on.

On one hand, The Undertaking retiring undefeated at WM would be wonderful since his legacy will be solidified and the WM Streak is something that'll probably never happen again, but then again, this business is supposed to be about giving back and ending the Streak would've give the victor the greatest rub of all time. You can't trust a new guy because you risk him burning out and quitting which waste the win. I truly believe Cena (preferably as a heel) making Undertaker lose by tapping out to the **** would immortalize him like when Hogan beat Andre.

A personal injury lawsuit has been filed against WWE, NEP Broadcasting, Screenworks LLC, Event Services Inc. (ESI), Sharpshooters LP and Neil Broome in the United States District Court of Washington on 11/15 reports PWInsider.com.

Shane Hawley claims that while working at a 2/14/09 WWE television taping in Seattle at the Key Arena as an "employee of the city of Seattle", Broome showed negligence while working at an elevated location in the venue and dropped a piece of metal causing the object to fall 40-50 feet and strike Hawley "causing serious personal injury."

WWE and the other defendants have yet to respond.

It certainly seems that Austin showed little interest in doing another match until Punk got into the spot he's in. All the "I've got one more match in me" stuff really started to gain momentum as soon as Punk got a foothold in the main event.

I think having all that time away to heal up and doing Tough Enough (which showed he still has it, just needs to avoid taking big bumps) restored his confidence.

Edit: The only thing I didn't like was Austin saying Punk should be heel. Sounds like Austin's insecurity in between the lines to me.

He just needs to find the right gimmick to get over with. Cody had the same problem and it took him a few years to get where he is now. A good start though for Ted would be to go back to being a heel and use "A New Day" again to get back some much needed attitude. His current T-Pain wannabe song is sh**ty as fu**!

Hogan Divorce Settlement Revealed

It's been almost four years since we first heard word of Hulk Hogan heading toward a divorce with wife Linda Bollea, and we're still learning new information about their settlement.
The champion wrestler, whose real name is Terry Bollea, managed to play nice with his soon-to-be ex-wife, pinning down an agreement over assets worth around $30 million back in 2009.
The settlement was confidential—until this week, when it was attached to a new motion filed in court records and became public.

The St. Petersburg Times reports Hogan's former wife received a little more than 70 percent of the couple's liquid assets, along with 40 percent ownership in his various companies. He also paid her an additional $3 million property settlement, which was partly pocketed from the sale of their beach house.
The paper reports Linda received $7.44 million of the couple's $10.41 million held in bank and investment accounts, but Hulk will not pay her alimony.
Linda also got to keep a Mercedes-Benz, a Cadillac Escalade, a Corvette, a Rolls-Royce and various off-road vehicles. Her ex, who allegedly has a fine collection of vehicles, kept the rest, but they aren't identified in the agreement.

I agree. Any match Austin has should rightfully be the biggest match on the show and Austin vs Punk could be way more representative of a top icon of the past facing a top icon of the future than Rock vs Cena because Austin and Punk are BOTH over and will unload on each other with both barrels unlike the neutered half over John Cena.

I'd be kind of glad if it was Punk because it would seem like a proper handling of the torch. Cena is more similar to Rock in some ways so it seems appropriate for them to go at it and honestly I'm really looking forward to that match.
It's weird that Brock vs Stone Cold almost seems likely. Steve's always supported him in UFC and they've probably had talks about it. It deserves it's own Wrestlemania though, as you guys have said.

Also I watched some of Stone Cold bottom line documentary. Even though I have all his other dvds , I'd still recommend this. It's one of their best documentaries and has a great collection of promos.

Wrestling with the Shadows was a great documentary that really showed how badly Bret did get screwed but seeing the two of them sit down all these years later would just be freakin' cool. Think I'll have to put that on my Christmas list.

It's really surreal to see that interview and it does get emotional. It's definitely worth checking out. Wrestling with Shadows was always one of the best , I loved catching all the backstage footage which was very rare at the time.

Gail Kim Says WWE Disrespected Her

Speaking to SLAM! Wrestling, Gail Kim explains why she disobeyed WWE by controversially eliminating herself from the Divas Battle Royal on the August 1 episode of Monday Night Raw. She says it was the culmination of all the disrespect she felt from WWE.

"I don't regret what I did at all. It was a respect thing," Kim says. "I was told to get eliminated as soon as possible, so that's what I did. I saw my decision as a case of either continuing to take their lack of respect or doing something about it.

"Nobody knows what I went through in terms of disrespect during my time there, but that move wasn't just about me it was a culmination of all the disrespect I felt that all the other women and the women's division as a whole had received too, I was taking a stand.

"While a lot of fans watching Raw noticed what I did, nobody from WWE noticed, that just shows how much they didn't care. I went up to Johnny [John Laurinaitis] after and spoke about the Battle Royal and his reaction towards the match was, 'Yeah, I heard it was pretty ****.' I was amazed and I then told him how I eliminated myself and he just laughed.

"How can fans take the division seriously if the people working for the company aren't? If it had been one of the men who had eliminated themselves they would have been punished, but because it was the women nobody cared, not even after I had told them."

A few days later Kim announced on Twitter that she had quit WWE, however, she was not permitted to bolt. What followed was a standoff between WWE and their former Women's Champion, which saw her forced to sit out the remainder of her contract.

"WWE are notoriously known for being controlling when it comes to your career, that night of the Battle Royal I went to Johnny and told him I quit, I said I don't want your money; I just want to be free. He told me that it shouldn't be a problem, but of course it was," Kim says.

"They didn't want me to work elsewhere, at this time I told him, 'What does it matter if I leave or not? You're not using me, it's not like I'm valuable to you just let me go,' but there was no budging."

After sitting at home for over two months waiting out the remainder of her contract, Kim finally made her much anticipated return to TNA Wrestling on the October 20 episode of Impact Wrestling, when she aligning herself with Madison Rayne and Karen Jarrett. Being a TNA Knockout means everything to her.

"I'm just so excited to be back in the company, I can't speak for anybody in particular but the feeling I got when I came back was that there were no hard feelings about my previous decision to leave. Being back here feels like time has never passed.

"I think everyone kind of expected me to return. I said in my last interview when I was leaving that I would probably be back, everyone has been real welcoming, it's like being a part of a family here at TNA. It's great to see the growth that this company has made since I've been gone, it's nice to see the direction its going and where they want to be heading."

She adds, "I'm just so happy to be here and to now be a part of a company once again that actually cares about wrestling."

I'm still annoyed that TNA blew through Storm vs Roode so fast but its great seeing the main storyline revolve around AJ and Roode. Thank God Hogans taking a break. Decent ending to Impact. AJ and Hardy got to look good with the win for their team and Roode took them out in sneaky heel fashion and stood tall the close the show.

Roodes got the potential to be a great champion. If only TNA booking could be consistent enough to back him up. Russos demoted so thats a start. C'mon Brother Love make it happen.

He was backstage at the 15th anniversary RAW and when he extended his hand to shake Hulk Hogan's , the immortal one didn't even bat an eye or acknowledge him(Hogan just kept walking). Punk was still standing there aloof when Austin walked up , when Punk went to shake his hand Austin gave him a hug.

why shouldn't she vent...she was horribly underused IMO, especially if you look at the feud she ended with in her last tenure with TNA and those great matches with Kong that were main eventing the shows

Wow. No wonder Punk seems to despise Hogan. Ol' Red and Orange is such a pr*ck. And he wonders why so many guys like Hart, Michaels, HHH, even Savage hate or hated his guts. Hogan even wondered why Punk didn't like him. Feigning ignorance I guess.

Hogan only seems to respond to people once they become "stars." When Bret Hart didn't shake his hand at the 06 HOF he was upset but 15 years earlier he couldn't give Bret the time of day.

Austins a class act though.
