SDCC Hall H Predictions?

I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but the prospect is just so damn exciting.
Picture the panel winding down to a close, and then Fiege (or whoever was moderating the panel) said, "and just one more thing..." and then boom, this image appears on the screen:

Doesn't have to be a logo for a film, doesn't have to be a release date, doesn't have to be anything other than a confirmation that the FF is back home, and I will be on cloud 9.

That would destroy the Con. The fans wouldn't be able to regulate the hype. I almost died when Spidey was announced. I can't survive F4, my hype rate would sky rocket.

The Spidey announcement was great, but FF would be on a whole new level. We've at least seen some pretty cool Spidey films. We haven't seen anything close to a real FF film yet.

And Doom and Galactus joining the MCU would change everything and fill gaping holes.

IF it happens, I hope somebody can get a good recording of the Hall H reaction.

Agreed. When Marvel delivers, they DELIVER. Right now, everybody is expecting that Marvel will announce Brie Larson as Carol Danvers. Marvel is going to have to find a way to exceed everyone's expectations. One way of doing that is showing off the Captain Marvel suit in some snazzy concept art.

I can't wait for tomorrow. The Captain Marvel actress reveal is what I've been for years.

At this point this would be kind of underwhelming if it were their showstopper announcement or reveal.

It'd be kinda like bringing Josh Brolin out at SDCC '14. It would have been a really cool announcement... If we hadn't found out about it months ago. So it kinda fell flat.

True, it'd be cool. But expected. We need something bigger In addition, either something releated to Spider-Man, IW, or F4. Those three are the biggest things people want rn.

"Brie Larson is Captain Marvel" wouldn't be huge though. We already know it's probably her. It'd be cool, sure, but less of an impact.

I was always a stubborn DC fan growing up, but Marvel's string of well-executed and faithful movies has converted me. This is the first SDCC where I've been more excited about the Marvel announcements.

There are still some really big characters that haven't shown up in the MCU. I've been fantasizing about how epic Phase IV could be...

The MCU can continue for a long time without the FF and related characters, but if Marvel did get the rights, Phase IV would be next level, with a lot of potential to top any of the previous phases. Theres so much potential there that Fox could never exploit.

Im not getting my hopes up for a FF announcement today but I do think a deal is in the works.

I know that we've already got a bunch of TV shows in the works but I would love to see Netflix shows announced for Blade and Ghost Rider.

I definitely appreciate your concerns Ragnarokroll...I really do...but I am like a kid at Christmas today...hoping for a present that I've always wanted but got clothes instead...still...I consider this thread an extension of the "Keeping Hope Alive" thread where dreams MIGHT come true...I do feel it is ultimately inevitable that the F4 will be home...but is it now? Later this year? Next year? Years down the road? Only time will tell...but hopefully its TODAY!!!
