Okay, so we finally get a Back to the Future reference on Legends during a scene with Thomas F. Wilson. Great.

Awesome episode tonight! All of the storylines were great, especially the team in Japan! Love how Mick’s talent as a writer was addressed again, and it saving the day in the craziest way possible!

Also loved the BTTF reference and the last scene intrigued me!

I have to wonder if Rat’s priorities will shift from the team to Nora.

I'm not so sure his priorities will shift, as Nora has chosen to turn herself in, and he'll want to respect that. She has been promoted to a series regular though (odd, considering she's hardly been in it) but I suspect, because she dabbles in magic, they'll be an agreement (of sorts) between her and the time police by where she joins the Wave Rider crew to help them lock the monsters back in hell, so she'll be helping the team and making up for her past mistakes.

I think the Atom's infatuation with Nora Darkh is being deliberately exaggerated. I suspect someone other than Nora cast a charm spell on Ray.

But this whole Ray and Nora storyline sucks. Very boring.

Another episode where Nate has to deal with a threat and doesn't use his powers. They should just write in the plot that he lose's his powers or have some kind of mental block that stops him from accessing them.

I liked him better a regular guy anyway. He was the every-man that brought value to the team with his skills as a historian, but he doesn't even use that anymore.

Does anyone know the behind the scenes reason they brought back the actress that played Amaya as a different character? Why not just use the original actress from that episode? Is there some contractual reason she was brought back?

They should just depower him; maybe his powers only work (somehow) if he's got time travel energy in him or something? Some lame reason like that? It certainly is a waste though; he should have been otherwise able to deal with all the threats he's faced lately simply be going steel. Similarly, the same reason Ray doesn't (seem to) use his suit much lately; it's like they all think they're regular people rather than heroes with abilities. Constantine seems the only one that's using any form of power at the moment.

The Amaya actress was probably already in with the cast and crew, though they had to wrap the Amaya storyline up, or maybe she wasn't sure she wanted to return but between last season and the start of this one she decided she'd be free? I can't help but fear they're going to do a Wells with her, and (going forward) we'll have a differernt version of her each episode. God that'll be annoying. I'm not too hot on her current portrayal as is.

I think it would be cool if they brought in some other superheroes... but they probably wouldn't be able to use their powers much since no on really uses them anymore.

I just watched this episode and it's a decent episode. I can't see myself revisiting it though. But I do like the writers remembered that Mick wanted to be a writer and it's a nice little development for Mick. I'm not a fan of Charlie, honestly I would have been fine if the actress who played Amaya didn't return. The Nora and Ray romance feels forced, I have no desire to see Nora again. I do agree with folks that the Legends feel like regular folks and those that had special abilities didn't use them in this episode which I found to be strange.
