Legends of Tomorrow Season 5, Episode 15 (Season Finale): "Swan Thong"

An okay season finale but with the cliffhanger setting up for next season.

In all seriousness, Charlie is out, and Sara probably won’t be in the opening episodes for next season, and I’m perfectly okay with that.

I had thought I’d read that Caity was leaving the show, but that’s obviously incorrect and it was Maisie instead; both have kinda’ fulfilled their use of late.

Was kinda hoping they’d keep both Zari’s for next season too. New Zari just seems to lack character development.

Where they’re going to go next season is anyone’s guess too. What’s left? Short of outer space and alien life, but that seems a bit too serious of a tone for a show like Legends.

could this be the Thanagain invasion?

With the way this show's been written lately, I'm expecting the Spaceballs invasion. The unfunny type.

I liked the season finale more than several of the previous episodes but damn, they really do make unpopular choices with the Zaris...

I doubt it. Something as important as that would (or should?) be the focus for one of the other, more serious shows. Not Legends.

They've already stated that they are looking to do B movie funny aliens.
To think about little green men with laser guns who just want to rule the world, you know, Marvin the Martian kinda shape, you're like, "Yes, that's what we need!" Not having to understand who our villains are on any kind of emotional scale means we can focus on the emotional stories of our characters, but then it's just a story of how do we kick these guys' asses.

I'm sure, guaranteed, that we'll find a way to humanize and find the emotional complexity of Marvin the Martian [laughs], and by the time we get to the finale, we'll have to spend like half our time realizing they weren't so bad, they were just misunderstood. At this moment, we want to keep it real simple so that we can find the complexity with our characters. We'll totally screw it up, I'm sure.

Yup!

I've been on an off with this show over the past few seasons, so the story arc's conclusion was baffling. (Vixen, turned shape shifter girl was now part of some god like deity sisterhood? Zari disappearing into a jewel?! Ookay then lol)

One thing I enjoyed was the group chemistry particularly the duos. Mick/his daughter, Sara/Ava Behrad/Zari. Curious to see how this develops.

On a side note I can't help but feel Nate would make an amazing Booster Gold.
