Shameless

The three storylines that I am most interested in is Fiona, Micky and Ian, as well as Kev and V adjustment to being parents. Frank's story is definitely fun but he's doing the same thing just on different people.

Frank gets on my nerves now. Debbie is annoying, Carl well, he's Carl. Lip's being an idiot like usualy. Fiona is being a walking hurricane of chaos as usual. Mickey and Ian have become the most interesting thing about this show and Kev and V have become the most endearing. I kinda hate what they've done to Sammy this year but I can't help it, I still love her.

FINALLY Jimmy makes his return. I cant wait till next week and how that reunion with Fiona goes down

Aside from getting married to a guy she barely knows, Fiona has been fairly stable this season. I dont see her life being chaotic. Its been grounded and normal and she's been doing well and making good choices with the one exception being this marriage

Mickey and Ian have felt like an afterthought. That god the last episode happened bc they have been wasted this season

I hate what they are doing with Kev and V. I fear them splitting unfortunately.

Sammy? A hot mess. She's a 34 year old acting like she's an 8 year old ****. Easily the worst character, even more so than Frank

No one is worst than Frank, everything he touches literally turns to ****. Fiona isn't as bad as last season but it's still early. I'm curious how Steve is going to explain how everything went down on that boat.

I love how Kev/V and Mickey/Ian are hitting rough patches...

I love Macy, but I feel like Frank should have died last season, also Sammy is insufferable - hate the character and the actor.

Debbie, the actress is awesome but they've kind of ruined her character with terrible plots. I miss when she went up against JJS in season 1.

Lip rules, thankfully he woke up.

Also, Carl finally has a somewhat normal plot line involving a kid like him from his neighborhood/family.

Holy ****, Ian is playing The Joker on Gotham next week :wow:

God damn that was a heavy episode...

It's astonishing how well Ian/Mickey's relationship is. Both actors, especially Noel just knock it out of the park week after week. Noel deserves awards for what he's done last year and again this year.

Fiona, of Fiona... she needs to figure her **** out. I love that the first show was her punching JJS. But, why did you fall back into his storm?

Like that Lip is growing up, he's my favorite character.

Wonder what (lasting) troubles Carl will get into with this drug stuff?

Also, Frank just needs to die already. Oh, stupid Sammy wasn't as bad this week but she just seems like the ball and chain this show doesn't need.

Great episode last night they really turned on the feels last night. Watching Ian in that manic state was disturbing. I was screaming at the screen for someone to help him. Then watching him go into the hospital was heartbreaking.

The Jimmy stuff I did not like, they made it seem like he brought trouble her way in the past. I would of prefer they just talked it out than jump into the bed. They are probably setting something up for later with Gus who I like.

Does Frank not understand hygiene? He always looks like he smells like a donkey's ass.

With Sheila gone, no one is taking care of him. He stated that 'Sammie' isn't feeding him his pills. He's a worthless human, the only thing he cares about is alcohol/drugs.

I'm just tired of looking at him. At this point if they kill him it will just be a relief. Him and Sammie are dragging this show down.

I agree. I feel like I'm actually VERY close to dropping the show completely, and it's due to two things: A.) All Things Frank (Sammie's included there), and B.) Fiona's terrible decisions. I love Fiona and probably wouldn't watch the show without her, but I feel like the writers make it too easy for her to make such dumb choices. I mean, I literally rolled my eyes at how quickly she ended up back in bed with JimmySteve last episode. Like, give her a little self-control please.

I love the show too much, and WHM is amazing but the plots they give him are dumb and redundant at this point... which might be a point with his character but we can't watch that forever.

Also, what is the point of Sammie? Even in the show, the characters hate her. She's like Tara from True Blood...

No she's not. A couple of people in the show actually liked Tara. :oldrazz:

Sammi needs to kick rocks. Everyone hates her on the show except Chuckie. Just go away. I hated how she acted like she ran that house. Beyond annoying

LOVED Fiona and Jimmy reunion. The feelings are still there. Gus who?

I could barely sit through that last episode. Ian and the baby was making my skin crawl. Seriously. I'm a fairly new dad, and when that baby needed a change and a bottle and that maniac just left it on the hood of the car, it's like my body was physically screaming at me to help. I had to look up spoilers immediately after that just so I could finish the episode.

Whew.

I like Sammie. Another thing, I think some people are forgetting about Fiona, she's an addict just like Frank. Whether it's bad relationships and choices or drugs, she's an addict. Her boss has pointed this out to her a couple times, she's addicted to chaos. Jimmie coming back into her life is like she had been clean for months and just shot up again. I like Sammie too, she has been annoying this season and it's pissing me off because I do like her and thought she was a great addition to the show last year but what they're doing with her this year is making me hate her a bit. Ian's story is heartbreaking. But, the good stuff coming out of that, aside from a brilliant portrayal of mental illness is Mickey. Mickey has grown into my favorite character on the show. They have given him so many layers of the years it's crazy compared to how he started. Seriously, Mickey and Ian is like the best, most real feeling relationship on tv right now. It all has felt so organic to the show and has really shown us a side to Mickey that nobody ever would have believed was there. Seeing him wrestle with his feelings about Ian has just been absolutely outstanding. Noel Fischer seriously deserves some recognition for his role this year cuz he has just killed it so far. Who would ever thought we'd see such real, raw emotion come from Mickey of all people? Now, Frank, Frank gets on my damn nerves now. I thought they were going to try to make him interesting by making him want to change but nope. That's what his character needs. He needs to find it in himself to live. That is the only thing that will really make him interesting again. Ya know why it was interesting watching Denis Leary be a raging drunk on Rescue Me? Because he struggles with his alcoholism throughout the entire show. It made things interesting watching a character fight with themselves so hard to not fall into old behavior and baser instincts. Frank just wants to wallow in filth and depreavity until he one day dies.

Oh yea, and I hope V dies in a freak accident or something. I get what they are doing with her this year but I just absolutely hate it. What kinda woman thinks she's gonna have twins and then everything is still going to be all about her and not the children? I used to love Kev and V on here and thought they were just great. Now I want V to leave and let the real parent who actually does care about the kids to find a woman who isn't the most selfish human being ever. Seriously, she's reached Frank and Fiona levels of selfishness this year. I cringe every time she's on screen cuz you just know it's some stupid **** about how she's not paid attention to anymore and the kid's get all of Kev's love. Ugh, talk about being as annoying as Tara from True Blood. And, it's astonishing cuz they did it within just 6 episodes.

Im with V. I hate how she's being painted as the villain. There needs to be compromise and Kevin is completely ignoring her. He needs to pay a bit more attention to her and their marriage bc right now they dont have one. She needs to show her children more affection but I dont think she's wrong in wanting the same from her husband

Yeah Im on V's side too. Kevin is behaving like an idiot. There is loving and nurturing your babies and then there is being a ****** husband and an anal retentive weirdo. Those two babies will be all right crying for a bit. He has completely forgotten that V is a human being with emotions and needs. If he didnt treat her like a disposable birthing machine V wouldnt be in this state. Seriously Kevin needs an outside party to slap some sense into him.

I seriously can't believe anybody is on V's side. They are children. Babies at that. She needs a reality check. She wanted this so much so she practically made Kev bang her mom. V ain't all right up stairs. It's almost like she is a Gallagher at this point. I really don't see how Kev is treating her like she's disposable either. She has needs? Ummmm, they have kids now. I think their needs come before her. Every time.

Im wondering how many of yall saying **** V have ever actually raised or helped raise a child. Its possible to put your children first without neglecting your spouse. Kevin is completely clueless about V or where she is coming from. And no children do not need to be coddled 24/7. When she wanted to have sex he couldnt even take five minutes to comfort his wife and be there for her. Rather than talking to her or attempting to understand her he just wants to assume her motivations are sinister. It couldnt possibly have anything to do with the fact she is ****ing depressed and he is making her hate his neurotic ass and resent her children. He is an inattentive husband. And neglecting the family bonds that the children need more than 24/7 mollycoddling. You dont get to just kick your wife to the curb and go spew your BS to strangers just because you have a couple of babies. Kevin could be there for V and the babies. It is possible.

Now Im not saying V is perfect, but so far her behaviour is a result of Kevin and were he an intelligent attentive adult he would see what is going on and be able to fix this mess.
