At first, I too believed V was suffering from postpartum depression. But her latest behavior doesn't really match the symptoms.

She's not suffering from it, cause she never wanted the kids to begin with. She thought she couldn't get pregnant, so she never worried about it. But then when Kev was still married to Sheryl, and found out he had a kid he didn't know, V thought they were going to split up for good. And the only way that V could get Kev to divorce Sheryl, was to promise that they would have a kid. And that is when they started to have a kid with V's mom. After her mom gave birth, V was the one who insisted on her keeping it, cause she didn't want it. She was also upset when she found out she was pregnant, cause she said the babies would ruin her body.

Basically, the only reason she kept the kids, was to keep Kev around, and not look for his kid he never met.

I wouldn't say she didn't want the kids because when she found out that she was no longer carrying tripplets she felt bad saying she had gotten used to the idea of having three kids even though they both admitted it would be easier financially. The problem is that she thought once she popped em out everything would go back to normal which never happens.

Fiona finally getting herself together! It was nice to see her end things with Jimmy. Sammie and Frank are funny together which is great because both characters were starting to annoy me. V is crazy and Kev is just dumb.

Sammi is terrible. Pulling a gun on Frank with Chucky right next to him and then shooting him in the arm to scare him into "accepting" her? She is psychotic.

Carl with Chucky.....lol. This is what nephews are for.

Kevin dissapointed me. He wont have any type of sex with his wife yet he let that nasty hooker give him oral sex?

Lip....he needed to shut the hell up when it came to his tirade against his family. Its HIS fault, not theirs that he didnt get the forms and turn them in on time. He should have been looking for that and gotten replacements when the semester got closer and still no sign. Blaming his family was deflecting from his own failure of responsibility

And that's his fault, not his family's. That would have been something that would have been in the original award letter and form that needed to be sign. He should have read everything and/or done his research instead of blindly accepting money without understanding the details of those terms. That was his responsibility and to start yelling at everyone for his failure makes him look foolish

I don't see why that's their fault. It was with the other mail and that presumably had been there at least a month. Lip never checks for mail? At least they didn't assume it was junk and throw it out.

That was a weird episode for a little bit, didn't like the 'directing' and didn't feel very Shameless... the Lip stuff, Fiona breaking it with JJS, and the Kev stuff saved it. Might have been the whole Carl angle, just seemed odd for this show... too sitcom-y.

When my family moved out of my Grandma's, she called us and told us we had mail that didn't get forwarded. She didn't tuck it away and say "Well, you didn't ask."

All the reason why he should have been looking for the mail. When I moved out of my parents home, I would look for that whenever I visited. I didn't just wait for my mother or sister to tell me especially since I would frequent there. Besides Lip was living there up until a couple of weeks ago. It's lazy and irresponsible especially since he is still there all the time

As for Lip, you can't know what you don't know. I went through the same exact situation after my freshman year in college. Just when you finally feel like you've adjusted to college. I am totally sympathetic to his plight and it boggles the mind they'd even use snail mail to begin with.

Good lord, I've never seen a show spark these many arguments and debates before. Not when it comes to which characters are at fault for what situation at least.

It wasn't lips fault he simply didn't know, now if he did know and wasn't looking I would put blame on him. At the end of the day he took care of all future problems with his mail by getting his own PO box. I do have to wonder what he did with the money his girlfriends dad tried to by him off with he could have put some of that towards his tuition. And on top of all that I have a scholarship that takes care of my tuition and my school would have just placed my account on hold so that my classes wouldn't get dropped while the processing took place, but obviously they have to make it all dramatic for TV.

IA. Im hoping that Frank is only being nice to her to set her up. I can so see him setting her up to get arrested and taken away for a while. I hope thats her fate in the finale

So Fiona just upped and moved out of that house...WTF?!? I get that she just got married but she is still those children's legal guardian. They have to live with her. She's really just trusting the crazy half sister, she barely knows? The current custody arrangement could be jeopardized if the courts were to learn that those kids are no longer under her care

As someone who just bought and watched last season on dvd I'm telling you that that is not a true statement. Lip stepped up when Fiona was F-ing up, he traveled back and forth in order to take care of the kids and keep them out of foster care and worked hard to get his grades up.

That was later in the season. When it opens up, he is just starting school and he was very carefree about it. He was going around busting up cars, and doing stupid stuff to jeopardize his enrollment. He wasnt all that responsible when the season started and thats when he would he would have accepted the grant. Fiona going downhill forced him to step up for the family but that doesnt erased that he didnt take the school thing all that serious in the beginning

You are not just transitioning from freshman to sophomore but teenager to adult. Not everyone is really aware of everything that entails. Like actually having important mail addressed to you.
