He looks just like Black Adam but has the personality that fits with Shazam / Capt. Marvel so I could see him as both roles.

He's perfect for a bright superhero movie with wonder, humor, and heart. I see him working for Shazam, Flash, Supes, Spidey, FF. But I wont recommend him for the gritty heroes like Batman DD Punisher.

It sounds like the DC movie he is in is 99% a Shazam movie, however I think he will end up playing Black Adam. He has said BA is one his favorite characters on twitter:



My guess is that they will announce Dwayne as a producer on the film and starring as Black Adam. Who the get to play Captain Marvel (or Shazam as they now call him) is anyone's guess.

Why not the guy they very seriously looked at for Batman, Almost cast for Superman, but couldn't due to his commitments to a (now ended) tv show?

Considering Shazam is part of the JL in comics and cartoons nowadays, I definitely can see him being there in the DCU!

If you all had to put a percentage of him being part of the JL movie what would it be? I'm going 30%. I just think this will be very family friendly with Johnson involved and will be in a separate universe. Can you really see him being in a universe where Superman kills villains? I hope so, but don't see it happening.
