Shazam Shazam in the DCEU

Assuming its part of the DCEU, just from a different production outlet (New Line), what do ppl think would be ways they can connect Shazam? I think it
can be done effectively without serving as too much of a DCEU trailer the way BvS and Suicide Squad were.

Maybe whatever damage, destruction etc. Steppenwolf brings upon Earth in Justice League has something to do with Billy losing his parents?

Name dropping is all you need. Billy is an 'orphan like Bruce Wayne' or something like that. Or at school he talks about the Justice League. It can be sort of the Spider-Man: Homecoming of the DCEU. In the same way this is about a kid masquerading as a superhero. But he's younger than Peter Parker.

Well I suppose a mention of how Billy respects and admires what Superman means to people and how he's trying model himself on him (that doesn't mean that he has to be portrayed as a cut-priced Supes, just have that as his starting point). They'd have to be a bit careful when they set his origin if it is part of the DCEU, as someone with Captain Marvel's Shazam's power-set not helping out during a world-threatening event would take some explaining.
