I have this terrible new problem with shoes. But unlike most women, its not heels and strappy ****. I've probably spent like $400 in the past 3 months on sneakers, is that normal?

Anyway, I was wondering what kind of shoes you people are into and if you have horrible taste like my fiance does.

I HATE shoe shopping... I have difficulty finding anything that meets all the following criteria:

1. Has proper foot support
2. Is comfortable
3. Looks good
4. Isn't too expensive (anything over $50 is too expensive because shoes never last me more than 1 year)

1 and 2 are a must because I enjoy walking... I like to walk everywhere. When I was apartment hunting I walked for 3 hours.

3... well lets face it, we should all look our best, and that includes our feet

Winter boots are the worst though... I live in Canada, we get snow and slush, yet when I go shopping for boots I have a hard time finding anything that goes up to just below the knees and doesn't have a zipper... anything with a zipper is NOT WATERPROOF!!!

1 pair of really good boots
1 pair of high heels for every colour of dress you own
1 pair of low heels for every colour of business suit / casual pants you own
1 pair of stilletto heels for every colour of lingerie/whips you own
1 pair of deck shoes (for around the pool)

that should just about cover it

not a full extension, even heels don't mimmic those sorts of foot extentions...

i mean one where the ball of your toes are still parallel with the ground and the rest of your foot pivots around the joint.
