Maybe, but that is simply a case of again, scape goating.
Rumor about the identity
According to unconfirmed rumors available to The Reference Frame, the killer was a 6-foot tall male Asian - I suppose East Asian - student between 20 and 25 years from Radford University whose girlfriend from Virginia Tech left him. He had two guns (at least one of which was a 9 mm caliber handgun) and wore a vest - probably a bulletproof vest - with too much ammunition as well as a maroon cap and a black leather jacket.
In the morning, he went to her dormitory in the West Ambler Johnston Hall. She was not there so he shot her roommate and the residential assistant. They didn't shut down the university, so he continued and tried to find the ex-girlfriend in the classroom of the Norris Hall (engineering) a few hours later. He didn't know the exact location, so he has shot a couple of classes and then himself by a shot into his head.
It's a great school if your getting into engineering and science.I think I'm still going to apply there.
Oh boo hoo. News flash people die everyday. Theirs genocide, famine, and disease all over the world. American suffering is not anymore special than any one elses so GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE. Though this is surprising. It's alot harder to kill people than you may realize. The news said he had only two pistols so he must have been a damn good shot to score so many kills.
I think I'm still going to apply there.
A few things I heard on the radio:
Allegedly....
A guy got into a fight with his gf, shot her an a RA in the dorms.
2 hours later he walks into a classroom and shoots each person dead.
There's a kid who recorded the sound on his phone and you just here one pop after another.
It doesn't sound like this was random shooting this was all pretty methodical.
Also the shooter has no id or cell phone on him, his prints don't show up, and his face was disfigured so maybe that's why they haven't released his name.
Did his GF live? If she did, imagine how crappy she's going to feel. I know its not her fault but she's bound to blame herself.
Survivor's guilt does suck, pretty royally. What if the girlfriend did die though? That makes it about a million times worse for the family, especially if they have other kids.
