A human character who somehow finds a way to keep up with the powered characters?

It'd probably mess up the realistic tone they have of the series, right?

Yes. And the eventual run in with the Cheerleader would be just like ... Batman vs. Superman ... Whoever vs. "The Cheerleader."

Just WAY too dumb.

No, I like Batman, but Heroes is not the show for someone similar to Batman to come in.

In fairness, Heroes wouldn't have the problem Batman experiences in Justice League where he is spectacular outmatched by those much more powerful than him.

That said, I fail to see how a human character could face off against Sylar.

On a side note I hate the whole notion of Batman being able to keep up with the other superheroes, and I'd no doubt feel the same if the this occured in Heroes. Mohinder had better not become a Batman.

Absolutley not! This show is about genetically advanced humans who choose to take different paths when it comes to their new found abilities. Some choose to be heroes, others villians, and those who make the decision to try and live a normal lives. A batman type character will eventually make the show campy.

So far this isn't a show about fighting day to day crime in the streets of your local city so there would be no need to focus on a vigillante.

We're not talking about a batman type as in "go out and beat up badguys"

The character would probably have knowledge on the protagonists of the show...and would probably be tied in to the whole claire's dad/mohinder's dad thing.

actually, a batman type does not work, nor do any Dc type characters.

However, how about a Nick Fury type on the show?

it's a show about ordinary people with EXTRAORDINARY abilities
so no

ps: my Save The Cheerleader shirt came today..can't wait to open it on Monday

Well depending on what they do with Micah he might could fit the bill. With his tech ability and intelligence he may end up building gadgets.

The show really isn't about which character can resemble another character the most from a comic/comic universe. Yes some of the heroes' powers in the show can be compared with actual comic book heroes, such as Claire and her healing abilities...But they aren't based off of them. And I'm also sure the series wasn't meant be exactly like an "X-men ripoff," like some have said before. If it's put into perspective, it's actually different in it's own way. And that's what makes it unique. As well as something great to watch.

He's already there..

Mohinder suresh it'll take time but i gaurantee its him. He and peter have the batman superman connection i first noticed it on the traing right before future hiro showed up.

watch the scene again you'll know what I'm talking about.

Mohinder is NOTHING like Batman
more like Professor X

He seems like more of a mix between Lex Luthor, Nick Fury, and Reed Richards.

Anyway, if we're talking a vigilante type, I think it might be interesting. There shouldn't be a costume or anything, except maybe some kind of simple mask like a ski mask or something, but an urban asskicker os some kind might be able to fit in somewhere. Maybe tied to Matt, since they'd probably travel in similar circles.

:cmad: NO! :cmad:
Do not ruin this show because some batfans want their character represented in it. This is not what this show is about.:o

besides imitating Batman would only give haters more of a chance to insult Heroes....and might lead to possible lawsuits...again.....

its, uh...not really that big a deal. No one's gonna lose sleep over it if there isnt a character like that....just a thought.

And i know the show isnt about what character can resemble another character....as no one on the show resembles any comic character to the letter. Rather, i was just wondering if a intelligent guy with knowledge of the heroes, and possibly their weaknesses, should be on the show. Thats it. Not a guy beating up clowns or anything like that. Just a super realistic version of the "prep time" Batman.

It has nothing to do with anyone (well, me at least) wanting Batman on Heroes. I was just saying that a vigilante type of character wouldn't be a terrible idea, and could be kind of interesting if they did it. Not that I think they have to.
