Best/Worst Character Revamps

Got to admit, that design looked pretty awesome!

I rather liked the freeze in TNBA when he was just a head spider inclosed in a suit.

Yeah, Freeze shoulda had that outfit since season one. Monstrous suit with a scrawny little man inside.

Am I the only one who loved Clayface?

Yeah, he was actually a well-done character. Almost like this series' Harvey Dent. My sole complaint about Season 4 was exchanging Clayfaces.

I only saw a couple of episodes but season 5 but I didn't see anything impressive.

This show has been known for making many changes to many of Batman's characters. Which do you thing was changed for the better? Which do you think was completely ruined.

Worst:

The Joker: My god, he is terrible! Barefoot, annoying, and he only has very few good episodes. Plus, he hasn't done anything remarkable here other than turning Bennett into Clayface, compared to the comics and his Timm counterparts.

Cluemaster: Somehow, they managed to turn a crappy villain from the comics into an even crappier villain on the series. Notice how he hasn't even been used other than his first episodes and his mere cameo in Season 4.

Mr. Freeze: Look, I'm a big fan of his design, but the fact they threw out THE only reason we still talk about him today is an insult.

Best:

Hugo Strange: From a stereotype mad scientist character in the comics to Batman's most dangerous recurring foe, Strange has managed to mess with Bats' head many times, whether as a psychiatrist or as a rogue scientist.

Firefly: He got a great new design, and his revamp from pyromaniac to hired arsonist made sense.

Riddler: A great design, an interesting origin story, and good characterization ranks him as one of my favorite characters in the series.

So, which character do you think they revamped the best? The worst?

I loved watching all of the villains being revamped, whether I ended up liking them or not (and the only one I didn't was Cluemaster), and I was very satisfied with everything to do with Batman, his vehicles, and gadgets.

I think a brilliant change was having characters known for their evil schemes rather than their fighting ability (Joker, Penguin, etc,), actually being a physical threat and along with that, my fave henchmen were Penguin's 2 kick-butt oriental female companions. Ooh, they still creep me out, but what a cool concept.

Wasn't Cluemaster always kind of a loser anyway? I never cared for Penguin's henchgirls but his birds were pretty cool.

I only saw a couple of episodes but season 5 but I didn't see anything impressive.

Funny, neither did anybody else. It would have been nice to see Yin in the last episode.

There were decent episodes like the lantern one but seriously not that great of a final season.

Yeah, what was the deal with giving the robot GL's powers? Couldn't they have just given it the ring? Or taken the ring away from him and hid it somewhere? LOL

I cringe everytime this new Joker is on; who at Warner ok'ed that? I really hate his current look...

I don't know what episode that was but I was talking of the one with Sinestro.

I was actually referring to the finale. Sorry.

I love the look. It's the obsession with prop comedy and bad jokes without any real malice that got me down.
