Here is how she should die. She walks out to her mailbox and boom. Harry had put a bomb in there.

SOME MOVIES MAKE MORE OF AN IMPACT WITH MANY DEATHS. IT CAN BE GREAT TO SHOW HOW HARD LIFE IS GETTING FOR PETER
ANYWAYS...IT WORKED FOR X-MEN 3:up:

meh. i don't think it worked in X3. they were trying too hard for emotional impact, and they didn't pull it off very well.

but that's completely different than a spidey movie.

You didn't find Cyclops' virtually unacknowledged death meaningful and emotional? How none of the other characters seemed to mention it IN THE LEAST???

Back on track, however, I think that too much death in S-M3 could overwhelm the movie. It's already pretty bleak with the symbiote and Harry biting it...somehow them throwing some other major characters into their coffins would make it wholly depressing and drag it even further into the territory that the fans are angry at: mopey Spidey land.

There's no room for happy-go-lucky Spider-Man in a black suit with so much death.
