SHe was such a sweet old lady. And funny in Spider-Man 2. Gah! I really hope they don't kill her.:(

the only way you'd know if she was funny in Spider-man 4 was if you recently invented a time machine.

No, Because then we would have to sit through agonizing scenes of her, uncle ben, and peter in that heavenly car.

Personally, I liked Aunt May a lot more in the first movie. In Spiderman 2, I really thought they made her character too...reactive. I'm not quite sure how to word it, but it seemed as though she was trying just a bit too hard to impart emotion; in the process leaving me somewhat dissollusioned.

ummm...that doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

and while we're at it, i liked may in SM2. i thought the whole subplot of her finding out that ben's murder was pretty much ol' petey's fault. added some dramaaaaaa.

Gah! I meant spider-Man 2, math 10 pure sometimes gets in my head.

May doesn't need to die. Peter needs her. they just need to avoid any annoying speeches for her. And MJ shouldn't die either. It's been done. She should leave Peter, because she realizes that love isn't enough for her to endure life with Spider-Man.

MJ should not leave Peter. Harry should die.

I thought it was ridiculous that Aunt May was mad at Peter for Uncle Ben's death. I mean honestly, it wasn't anyones fault besides the guy who killed him. I hate it when characters are written to have these sudden guilt trips just to pull heart strings.

I never liked Aunt May in the comic books honestly. She's naive and boring. All she does in the early comics is pamper Peter and criticize Spiderman. And from a story aspect all she does is add one more family member for Spiderman to worry about that honestly, I wanted to die from day 1. I've always thought May's death was the only thing that could allow Peter to truly evolve. The woman is a poop hag, no questions asked.

Yes. And if Spiderman 3 is anything like 2, so should the franchise.

No way. Saw Spider-Man 2 again today and Aunt May is one of my favorite additions. She should never die.

Not her time yet. There's already enough deaths likely to occur in this movie with characters like Gwen and Captain Stacy popping up, not to mention Harry's likely demise at the end.

She needs to stick around for now--- maybe in Spider-Man 4 they can do the ASM #400 plotline with her, so it'll actually mean something instead of just being "another death".

Venom should club her on the head with a baguette right before the credits so she's in a coma for all of SM4

No she shouldn't die in this movie but a bit later in spiderman 4 or 5.

i would not want Rosemary Harris to be replaced by another actress. she IS Aunt May. noone would ever top that. but because of that she needs her own time as well. i hope they don't kill her off in this one but the next one. and her death should be to do with Venom. That will create the ultimate hate peter will have for Venom. Venom does not have to kill her, just the sight of him could do that to her.and she should reveal to peter that she figured he was spiderman all along, before she dies.

How Wierd Would It Be If She Was Getting Attacked By The Gg2 And As She Was Screaming For Her Life Harry Feels Bad And Takes Off His Mask (kinda Like Sm1) And Aunt May Dies As She Realizes It Was Harry That Killed Her

SOME MOVIES MAKE MORE OF AN IMPACT WITH MANY DEATHS. IT CAN BE GREAT TO SHOW HOW HARD LIFE IS GETTING FOR PETER
ANYWAYS...IT WORKED FOR X-MEN 3:up:

While I agree it worked in X-Men, the thing is.... X-Men simply has a lot more characters. ;) Killing off three, five or so characters wouldn't make a huge dent the way it would in Spider-man, which currently only has about 5 or so people in the supporting cast.

Not saying it wouldn't work, because I'm sure there's many ways they could pull it off; but I still think it'd be more effective to spread the deaths out and let them have their own impact.
