Should F4 III be a holiday release?

Since both the first and second films had trouble holding legs with the summer competition, would it be best to have F4:3 be a holiday release?

Or if not, should they at least wait for late July/early August where the competition is thinner?

definitely, a holiday release would be perfect for that kind of film. a December/Christmas Day release would be perfect, since most families spend their time going to the movies together around that time. and the Fantastic Four is a family-oriented type of film.
plus, it would be fun to see a fun entertaining action flick(with some comedy in it) during the winter season.

A Holiday release for FF3 would be great, it would work very well with this kind of a superhero film, action / comedy, hope to see it in 2010.

Yes. Avoid the summer rush. All summers seem to be getting more crowded than ever before each year. Take the winter.

Thats a no brainer......Thanksgiving, or Christmas release would be good....definitely worked for "Night At The Museum"

I thought I started a thread like this but absa"F'N"loutely it should be a Holiday or Winter release. No freaking doubt about it. No question at all. I've been telling this to Tim Story since FF2 stumbled in week 2. That solves the box office issues. Secondly keep it PG-13 and make it a bit longer by extending the non-action scenes a bit. I realize if this film were kept the same and tagged PG-13 noboby would have said a word about the content being too soft. I thought it was MORE intense.

I say Fantastic Four III, should open December 17, 2010.

Kids get out of school for winter holiday on that day in most school districts all over the country....and it should open worldwide on the same day.
