Should Hercules be introduced in the MCU?

I dunno, I think they should cast someone more... Mediterranean looking as Hercules. Plus Hercules is a comedic and often over the top character, and I'm not sure Cavill can pull that off. Now Wonder Man, on the other hand... he would be perfect for Wonder Man.

I know just the guy!

I hear everyone loves him

I'd like a lot to see something like this in te MCU!

Oh my gosh yes we need ares! Especially if they’re building towards dark avengers! But who could play him?

What about Jonathan Lapaglia

Oh my gosh yes, it even kind of works with his guardians of the galaxy cameo

Were he not already Aquaman I'd say Jason Momoa.

bring back Ryan Gosling...

I vote for Sofia Vergara's hubby as Hercules. He would be absolute perfection.

That’s Joe Manganiello right? He looks the part for sure.

I say yes, for a couple of reasons.

1) More Greek mythology is a good thing.
2) He'd make a suitable and comparable replacement for Thor, should that character be retired for a few years.
3) Hercules is awesome.

Totally agreed on 1 and 3. On 2 I’d say I want him so we can see these two titans together. I definitely don’t want Thor retired any time soon as he’s only recently found his mojo.

I wonder if Hercules has tricky rights issues? I mean, so many studios have done their own Hercules. Maybe marvel is worried if they make one, someone else will make another and people will get confused especially if the other one is terrible

There will be no rights issue. The legend of hercules is well over 2000 years old.
As for others making a film. They did that a couple of years back with bad results. A company might try and piggy back and do another film but i think people will know the difference between a mcu hercules and another.
