That's it. I'm growing a beard right now.
I have a beard now. I love it. I've NEVER had a beard in my life, so it's new experience for me. I hide food, weapons, and the remote in it. I also read to it at night. It... completes me.
I grew a beard once and then shaved it off, to never grow one again. It itches and is hell to shave off.

I've always wanted to look different, I've looked the same since I was in the 5th grade. I want to do something to switch up my look to make me look older. I know im young, im a junior in high school but should I grow some facial hair? I always attempt to grow some but then someone always has to come along and say something that makes me shave it. How would I look with it, be honest?

Just keep it trimmed and sculpted. Don't go for the mountain man look.
Haha, well maybe if I grew one then I wouldnt look like a baby faceI hate to tell you but you have too much of a baby face to look good with facial hair. Guys with more square jaws and angular faces look better. You just look like you popped out of the womb.![]()

Na man, that isn't a proper beard then.
I laugh at the blokes who look like they have spent a hour grooming and sculpting their beards.
In my experience, a woman doesn't want a man who spends more time looking in the mirror than her. And rightly so.
I suppose you are right. You need to find the balance between having a massive bush on your face, and looking like a tart who spends hours looking in the mirror.
High school kids who try to grow beards just look creepy. Wear a long black trench coat and walk everywhere, by yourself, while you are at it.
