It's called counterpoint to your argument, put down your bong.

no, you threw out a bunch of names without mentioning what they did. as far as i know, harry reid is the only one of those you listed who's currently serving in the government. i might not recognize some of those names, though, so forgive me if they are still active in government. my post was illustrating what the dems are attempting to do now, not in the past. what point are you trying to make and why do you have to take that tone?

Man, on a side note, FoxNews is sucking this "scandal" tit dry right now, man. It's all they're talking about. Really, anyone with cable turn on FoxNews right now to be treated to the most pathetic display you've ever seen. John Gibson is interviewing some clown about the entire ordeal and they're just about to break the BIG news story about why the Kerry comment wasn't found out about until the day after he spoke it. Holy ****ing ****, man!!!! Appearently there's some guys behind the whole thing!

That's right folks, you heard it from me first, who just heard it from FOX first:

The case of the guy who didn't release the Kerry comment until a day afterwords!!!!

Fox has always sucked!

Limbaugh is not an elected official, he is not a leader of the GOP, and he's apologized. So stop your whining.

that's not apology. he tried to smear him again. and just because he's not a leader of the GOP doesn't mean he's not a virtual figurehead for the conservative movement. he should issue an apology for his orginal remarks and for this sorry excuse for an apology.

oh, and what ever happened to the republican's mantra of personal responsibility? *cue obligatory bill clinton reference*

how bout no. ****.

:whatever:

Are you going to refute my points or simply ignore them? Since Kerry had to apologize, perhaps Bush needs to apologize for making fun of nothing any WMDs and maybe he should apologize for saying "I don't take the death of the troops personally".

He said those very things, along with Laura as well on 60 Minutes and Larry King.

So no, I will not shut up because some neo-con supporter gets upset because people are calling out Bush on his crap, his lies, and his stupidity.

He should apologize for being an incompotent *****ebag to the Democrats. If he wasn't, he would have easily won the election.

On this topic he should apologize. Not only is it the right thing to do, but it will make him and the Democratic party look better.

Honestly man, I agree with you that Limbaugh is a total ******** and a weak, cowardly fool. However, that being said I don't think it makes a ****ing lick of difference whether or not he apologises. He's a joke to anyone worth talking to in this country and I don't think it matters if we get a "sorry" out of him. But there is no way in hell that Kerry should have to apologise, infact this isn't even news, the only reason so much time is being wasted on it is that it serves as good filler.

i hear you, but i'm just trying to point out the hypocrissy of those on the right who are up in arms over kerry mispeaking and then apologizing for offending anyone, while someone like rush purposely says something hateful, twice, and he's given a free pass.

Do yourself a really big favour and do a little research on ChoicePoint.:cwink: You'll like what you find.

No, it makes the Democratic Party look weak. The Republicans are known for smearing and literally go down into the sewer to get more power. The Democrats need to fight fire with fire, no backing down and just simply tell it exactly how it is.

did he really say that?

Kerry is an idiot and a sore loser...him and Al Gore need to get a hobby besides thinking about ways to put giant ice cubes in the ocean to stop global warming. Kerry is married to a billionaire and looks like Herman Munster...he needs to stay inside his mansion. He apologized though so I guess he knew he was wrong.

No. It makes them look worse than they already are. The only people who DON'T want Kerry to apologize are the people who already vote for him. If the Dems want more voters, they have to create a more positive image. And that requires Kerry to swallow his pride and apologize. By not apologizing, he is doing the Republicans job of making him look bad.

Democrats are hippy liberals that want to raise my taxes. I think it is funny how you talk about only the Republicans using smear campaigns and mud fights...how funny. The liberal media has been smearing Bush and the entire Republican party lately because it sells papers and prescribes viewers. When the Democrats where in power, it was the same way. You only hear about the bad things from the party in power...the good things make page 16 and no one hears about them.

I wish the news hadn't sabotaged my objectivity by giving me the context, then showing the clip.:cmad:

You always make me laugh...Kerry should not have said that period. He can take his gruff out with the man in power, Bush. The troops did nothing wrong. For him to say that was pompous and assanine. I just really hate that man and they way he looks and talks...Bush comes in a close second though.

Id like chaseter to list these good things relegated to page 16.
