Sequels Should logan where a costume in his spinoff?

Herr is right it can be done, but...........

If the spinoff is to focus on his military/covert-black-ops days then we may see an outfit more akin to the military gear worn by the soldiers in X3 or X2. If they go the secret agent/spy/route, we could be looking at MI:2 or 3 type of outfit; somewhat sleeker.

Has there be an official word on what part of Logan's past the spinoff will elaborate on?

The black suit obviously can't happen, since he got it from the X-Men & his movie takes place before he'd even heard of them.

As I mentioned in another thread, if Alpha Flight or Department H is involved, I can definately see the costume coming into play. Maybe in the movies his memory of his past is even less than that of the comic book character who at least remembers Sabretooth (Sabretooth sure remembers him in the movie...or maybe they're both loners looking for answers to their past and just so happened to end up on the right front porches at the right time).

I wouldn't be suprised if they mixed all of it actually and ended up having people like Guardian and Puck as Weapon X operatives on a team called Alpha Flight...It'd be cool if they went into the contrast between the relationships his relationships with Jean/Scott, Vindicator/Guardian, and Rose/Smitty.

Yes he should,so if the movie bombed they can blame it on the costume:)

I just couldn't see an outfit like that being in the X-Men movies. Although they are fantasy movies, the X-Men seems to have a sense of realism, when it comes to what they are wearing at least, and I can't think f any justified way why Wolverine (who didnt even like the plain black outfit in X1) would ever wear something like that.

Have you ever tried to run in leather? I can assure you there is nothing realistic about a strike force fighting crime in leather and rubber outfits. Everyone except Wolverine would faint due to dehydration. That is not realsim, it is fo-realism. It would make much more sense for the X-men to wear what olympic runners wear (which looks like spandex, and might be, I wouldn't know) because it is proven to be functional for physical activity in the real world. However, I don't think Herr Logan is suggesting spandex. Just a tight fighting uniform that matches the design of the comic.

I don't think someone who once ran around in yellow rubber/leather/spandex/lycra or whatever would be so quick to criticize the X-Men's uniforms.

i dont think he should simply because i dont think he would (regardless of the comics). the only times he ever wore the suit was for the final battle in each movie. he doesnt seem to like it, so why would he want to carry it around with him.

like stated above, if there are flashbacks or scenes involving Alpha Flight or any other organization, maybe i could see them giving him a uniform- maybe something along the lines of his Ultimate X-Men:

Who cares? As long as there is a WOLVERINE prequel. Hugh Jackman already said on tvguide channel that it is being written as of now, so it is really gonna happen, but a costume. nope. ain't gonna happen. that's my opinion. 'nuff said.

Depends on what the story is, if it is all about Weapon X then no. Just his clothes, then the big metal helmet and tubes. If its him in Japan then no, if its him as a kid then no.
I gues I don't think he should wear a costume in his own movie, looks cooler when he is fighting in his normal clothes anyway.

hell yeah it can work i mean look how lame the Superman costume was but they improved it in Superman Returns. they shouldn't make Wolverines costume spandex but give it a mesh look like the Superman and Spiderman costumes give it more of an organic look and whallah u got your self the classic Wolverine using the brown and yellow colors of course.

That would look so queer in real life.

its not anymore queer than the Superman costume but like i said it can work if they added scales or a mesh look with a thick fabric or something to give it a more husky look

For once I agree wiht Kritish.

What is the world coming to?!

And again, how can somebody who ran around the Canadian Rockies in that say something like "You actually go outside in these?"
Wolverine is just not the kind of guy I can really see running around in that sort of outfit. And the mask is unnecessary & unjustifiable, IMO.

thanks for the breaking news

i'm just sticking to my opinion and hopefully there is one person who can see beyond just the comic look and find ways of improving it if they were to put the costume on screen.

Ok some of you are saying how stupid Wolverine looks in his comic form, then WHY THE HELL ARE YOU EVEN FANS!?!?!? You people who love these crap movies amaze me with how much you say this and that in the comics is sooo lame yet you say you are fans? If you hate half the things about these characters then why are you fans of it!?

It depends on the direction the film is taking. If he's doing stuff as an X-Man, then by all means, he needs to wear the uniform. If he's going out and say, looking for answers, street clothes are the only appropriate thing. THink of the X-Suit as work clothes.

As for what the outfit should look l think they should stick with the black suits. I don't care how they light it up, Wolvie's comic book costume would be a big mistake. And that doesn't mean we hate the comic book form. It just means that things in the comic book will never look good if you put it on the film verbatim. That's just ******ed to think that everything in the comic book needs to make it on to the movie as is. What works on one medium will not always work on the other. That's a fact. Otherwise all the X-Women will be six-foot-tall amazons with D-Cups.

It's going to be a prequel so the x-men uniform won't be in it. His comic book costumes could be just made as something devised by weapon x or department h or alpha flight or something.

Dark dark brown leather coat and pants with leather coat slightly unzipped showing a different shades of brown and yellow army undershirt. The mask could work on stelath mission or what not.

in the first few scenes until it gets torn apart and he has to wear his civies.
