Wow. That is pretty nice. A little...plain but it is definately impresive. Just needs something more to make it pop but I don't know what that is.

Actually I did a fabric it s not plain its just that you can only see it when it s at a high resolution like my daredevil manip. For my work I use a 22 inch lcd screen but I have to consider that most people have a 17 or 19 inch screen so I have to scale my image and you lose the detail of the fabric.

Maybe they could also have him wear a mask like he did in Crisis on Infinite Earths. (like Hal's mask.)

I also really hope that they make him an average guy and an architect, not a military guy.

I honestly think that john Stewart costume is easier to do than the previews GL. It s only green and black. The white glove look cool in the comics but I do know in the motion picture. same thing with the mask. Also wearing a mask when you re paying big $$$ for an actor it s not the best options. So for all those reasons I wouldn't go with Hal style.

And then eventually this, but they new versions were still based on the original.

I would like to see Hal's comic costume brought to the big screen (with minor tweaks like green wrist guantlets instead of white gloves) sometime. In the comics, this costume came before Stewart's new one, and it was the uniform most of the Corps used. Plus its so cool.
I don't mind them using the John Stewart design, but I don't want them to forget the original costume either and base all the other GLs on the new Stewart uniform. Just like I don't mind John being in the first movie (as long as they get his character right) as long as they leave it open for Hal being the first human Green Lantern and the one before John.
But I guess if they don't use this costume, and even if the media forgets it in all the movies, it will still be featured in things like the New Frontier animated movie.

For a minute there I couldn't see what you were talking about but than I see the difference it s the boots. Hey if they remove the green boots I don't mind at all. I will not gonna be severe for GL costume as I did with batman and superman. I also don't care if it s hal or Stewart that get the role. Better have a GL movie than nothing at all.

See now that's just perfect all over.
Hope the real suit is even close to this good. I even like the white gloves to be honest. Provides a sharp contrast with the rest of the costume and it reminds me of when police officers wear white gloves in parades. Like these neat and tidy soldiers here to clean up.

But I wouldn't complain if he wore green gloves or green gaunlets with black gloves either...In fact the latter would look pretty nice on this one.

This is exactly what I would like to see in the movie. A costume, no matter if its John or Hal, like this. Its close enough to the original with minor touches to make it work better. It has a fair amount of green, something I think the Green Lantern costume should have.
I also wouldn't mind the black gloves with green guantlet wrist things. But the white gloves look good too.
Very nice. It shows that this style works just as well as the new John Stewart costume.
