no! not DEATH!!!!!! ok maybe...but his daughter better be in it dang it!

This Top Gun actors do it for the love of money but are real artists so I have no doubts Freeman wants his role a bit more fleshed out.
Michael Caine even expressed his desire to have more screentime for Alfred when he was interviewed with Holmes at Beverly Hills.

They should show Mr. Fox because he rnuns the company now. But for more scenes, doesn't matter to me as long as it fits in well.

Whaat do you think?

Freeman is one of best actors of his generation. Certainly if there is an opportunity he should be used more but only if it makes sense as part of the story.

This reminds my of Joe Pesci in Lethal Weapon II was was just brilliant but he appearance in III seemed forced and in IV it was just painful to watch as his character had zero bearng on the story.

I'm 100% sure Fox knows.

Do you think there will ever be a point where Gordon suspects like he's dones in the comics?

^ Not sure. But if there is a point where he does suspect, I think we will get some nice ''Playboy Bruce'' scenes. :D

as you said, Fox runs Wayne Enterprises now so naturally he'll be able to manufacture whatever Bruce wants him to under the table, no questions asked. that's a given. but the ideas must come from Bruce. it should start from him, not be just on the recieving end.

also now that Fox is CEO, does he even have time to think up of cool gadgets for Bruce?

Yes, totaly agreed. Bruce should just bring his idea and Fox will help him to make it real

Bruce: Lucius, I need a boomrang thats made in the shape of a...bat...for my dog...Rex to play with.

Fox: No problem , but Mister Wayne, if you don't want to tell me exactly what your doing, when Im asked, I dont have to lie. But don't think of me as an idiot.

Bruce: Yeah, that was pretty obvious wasn't it. Fair enough

yes. or at least one extended scene with him. i think he's an interesting character. and now that he's a key role in running Wayne Enterprise, i think it would be cool for Bruce to possible seek his help with something vital at one point or another.

It doesn't really matter to me as long as Freeman returns i'll be happy. As long as it isn't some cameo appearance.

Maybe Nolan can grant Freeman his wish for a movie sex scene. He's said he'd love to do one but he's never been granted the oppurtunity. Perhaps Fox and Leslie Thompkins could have a deeper discussion about weaponized hallucinogenins in TDK if you know what i mean:D ;)

Less of a role. I love Freeman, but the character is pointless and wastes time that could be used to better develop more important characters. For all those people saying that Batman is not a tech geek, he's supposed to be the modern equivelent of Sherlock Holmes, a man who invented all his own methods based on a keen intellect and rational mind. This why I like Batman as a detective and take off on the maverick cop rather than a ninja.

Unlike most of the other folk here it seems, I've only watched Batman Begins a handful of times, but one of them was last night. I think it's essential in these movies to have someone who even brings a wry smile to your face.

I feel that in the earlier batmans, this was often Alfred's job, although he was pretty cheesy with it. It was only last night that I realised how much I liked Freeman as Fox. I think he should definitely have a scene or two, but this time it should be angled more towards Fox passing on his knowledge to Wayne rather than giving him some left over goodies.

As has been mentioned a few times before, the last thing you want is for Fox to end up as a 'Q' character, who they feel obliged to give 2-3 appearances in the film just to kit out the protagonist.

I thought Rachel won't die in sequel
Did Nolan say she wouldnt?

I figure someone close to Bruce has to die.
Id much rather it be Rachel than Lucius.
The same amount of screentime is good enough for Wayne Enterprise purposes. Or maybe a collaboration between Bruce and Lucius to find an antidote for Jokers killing methods(whatever they turn out to be).

Lucius shouldn't die, because it will be pointless.

But I also don't think Rachel should, because then, this movie will be much darker (what shouldn't happen).

BTW, I also think so about Fox and Wayne finding an antidote for Joker's poison.

Batman Begins surely needed a scene where after Bruce uses his Batmobile for the first time & FOX sees it on the news or a picture on the paper we see him get curous & then it cuts to a scene where FOX asks Bruce how Batman got ahold of that car

I wanted a scene like that :down But like FOX said in Batman Begins all of that stuff is Bruces anyway so he can use it anyway he wants to. Fox probably respects Bruce enough not to ask just for the fact that Bruce owns all of that stuff but he more then likely suspects something

Well, Fox couldn't see it, because he was on Bruce's B-Day party.

Besides, I don't think Fox isn't so smart to not guess that Bruce is Batman.

Are you guys dense? Fox knew by that point that Bruce was Batman, and Bruce knew that he knew. They were being sly with eachother. They made it more than apparent that Fox knew his secret in the bedroom scene. Watch their reactions and mannerisms, people almost never say what they mean.

Wouldn't Fox have noticed the Tumbler on the television...?

"Hey, isn't that Bruce's black Tumbler...?" - I mean, get a grip... of coarse Fox knew!

I could go into detail, but I honestly can't be arsed...

Fox knew after Bruce borrowed things from him I mean you got be blind like Lois Lane not notice that Fox knew Bruce is Batman

you should have put that in a spoiler tag or SOMETHING!! sheesh.
the NERVE of some people.

of COURSE he knew people! you think he can build a microwave whatever thingy mccallit and CAN'T figure out he's Batman after he had to make a fear inducing toxin antidote for him the NIGHT after the high speed chase in the tumbler HE gave Bruce. psha! right. i can't believe some of you people think he DIDN'T know!!

I think it was pretty obvious that Fox knew about Wayne's secret but its one of those things they didn't need to spell out in my opnion. Don't think of him as idiot.;)

Freeman has been cast in another film based on a comic.

Freeman is Wanted at Universal

Source: The Hollywood Reporter November 7, 2006

Morgan Freeman is in final talks to star opposite James McAvoy in Universal Pictures' Wanted, a sci-fi actioner that will mark the English-language debut of Russian filmmaker Timur Bekmambetov.

Wanted is based on Mark Millar's explosive graphic novel series, published by Top Cow. The story follows a put-upon man (McAvoy) who discovers that his long-lost father is an assassin. After his dad is murdered, the son is recruited into a covert organization of killers and trained to follow in his father's footsteps.

Freeman will play Sloan, the lead assassin who trains McAvoy.

Wonder what kind of effect this will have on TDK? Both movies have similar shooting schedules.
