Transformers Should the Transformers eyes flash whilst speaking, or glow?

Not sure if it's been spoken of yet, but here goes:

In the classic toon, you'll notice that the eyes/parts of some of the bots flash whilst speaking. Would you like to see this implemented in the film, or would you rather have a permanent glow?

Or perhaps you'd rather them have no eyes, just dark lenses, like on cameras.

Personally I like the flashing eyes! But it may get annoying to some people.

well it seems to have worked in the past but they didnt change color, like blue for depressed or calm and redish for upset red for angry

I think it should glow when an emotion is intensified. That's how the cartoon had it. Like when Megatron would say "We attack the base at sunrise!" It glowed from excitement. etc.....

Looking at the Terminator photos I don't think they need to change colours for extra emotions so permanent glow for me.

I like the permanent glow.

The flashing while speaking seems very dated to me.

I would like for them to have a permanent glow. The glowing may intesify if they get angry or the situation gets intense. If one dies the eye glow should be off.

For robot mode I would go for the permanent glow, but in vehicle mode I think it'd be good to have the headlights flash when they talk.

Well, they don't talk in vehicle mode in the movie, so that's irrelevant.

Agreed. That's how I always imagined it should be myself.

Although where detail is concerned I'd like combination of glowy eye and a bit more lensey type stuff as you get closer.

Because he didn't have a mouth and that face plate didn't move like Prime's did.

I've heard the rumour that they're going to remove Prime's mouth shield when he speaks. Is this true, and if so do you think he'll have an insect like mouth like the poor designs shown on the Decepticons?

Flash a certain colour whenever the bot speaks
