Really the turtles should have different views on it. Leonardo being the honorable type, only kills when he sees it just (like Shredder). Raphael being more relaxed about it, but still not killing petty criminals. Michelangelo not kill at all (that wouldn't work with his depiction as a friendly, nice guy), and Donatello only kill when there is no other way.

In this day and age we only allow villains or anti-heros, who are kind of satirical in their own right, to kill when it's not self defense, so it would depend. Ninja has become such a pop culture thing, no one really knows their main priority has always been to assassinate their target.

The no killing thing is a bit weird, we live in a world where death and violence happens every day. Surely we can handle fictional alien turtles killing. They are NINJAS with WEAPONS.

My jaw dropped the first time I saw it. Even after knowing what really went down, it's still a surprising thing considering Leo decided to cut his head off thinking he was human.

I think it'd be interesting if they did something like that in this film. But, I don't want another Utrom Shredder. So, maybe with a different character or something.

I really have no problem with making Shredder supernatural. I rather liked how before the Utrom-reveal, that they implied that there was something supernatural about him. He wasn't even surprised by the turtles' appearance.

Absolutely, positively, yes. I want to see Leo stab Shredder in the chest and cut off his head like in the comics. But I doubt they'd be down with decapitation for this film, so I would settle for the chest stabbing.
