What do you guys think of some of the past Bonds making a cameo in this movie?

Let's see:

Sean Connery is currently not doing any movies and has said that he is enjoying retirement. But would it be an option for him do just make one little appearance?

Roger Moore is still doing movies, so I think him making a cameo could happen if the idea came his way.

Timothy Dalton is not doing any movies at the momemtn, so I think he can also show up in movie.

Pierce Brosnan i'm not to sure about. While it would be cool, I don't think it'd be a good idea because he was the one that played Bond before Craig. So me, i'd go with the Bonds like Moore or Dalton.

What do you guys think? Would it be a cool idea or not?

I still say Sean Connery would make a kick ass Bond villian.

Self-Referencing film is great in a new series however it's the death bane of sequals... So I'll go with no :(

If the scene with a cameo from a past Bond fit within the context of the movie then it´s ok but if it´s just to have a cameo and be a pointless scene then there´s no need for it

That'd be pretty cool.

Yeah, I don't think it should be pointless. I think it should happen in an important part of the movie.

Naw, but what I do think they should do is, after Daniel's contract is up and they're searching for a new Bond, they could make a movie in between actors bringing back one of the former Bonds, and do the opposite of Casino Royale, instead of doing an origin story, do a movie telling the story of Bond's last mission and death.

No, this gets brought up at least 20 times before every new Bond film of recent memory. NO. It was a stupid idea 20 years ago, a stupid idea 10 years ago, a stupid idea for CR, and it's still a stupid idea, now, only a tired and old one as well.

What's with all the cameo ideas on the hype. You can't seem to have any movie now where a "hypster" doesn't want to see a cameo. I don't understand the importance of cameo's except for comic relief.

Hell no! It would be trivial, gimmicky and distractive.

All of them in one scene would be beyond awesome if executed right..

If one of them does a cameo, it shouldn't stick out so much. Perhaps make it that they don't talk. They are just standing next to Craig in one scene. That would be sooo awesome if one of the past Bond's actually played the villain!

I voted no.

On some level it would be cool - but I honestly dont think it would sit well with the new 'realistic' take they established in CR and will seek to continue in 22;

A cameo wouldve worked better for the Moore or Brosnan era's.

No....not unless you could get Sean Connery to play a Bond villain. That would be the most BA thing ever. Imagine Connery shouting to any other Bond "I knew I was always better!"

But it'll never happen.

Besides Connery hates EON and vice versa. Same with Brosnan. Dalton is meh. That leaves Moore, but I just don't know. It'd be distractive. So no.

BTW does anyone know if Connery is coming out of retirment just for Indy IV, though?

His eaxct words were, he's enjoying retirement too much.

In Craig's final film, he should walk into a casino and as he passes one table, there will be four players and a dealer at a table playing cards. Connery, Moore, Dalton and Brosnan will be playing and Lazenby will be the dealer!

They will all look over to Craig as he passes by and then look at each other, and then look at the camera and wink, except Lazenby because he'll realize what an idiot he was for not excepting the seven picture deal

That sounds like a cool idea.

Look at the camera and wink??? Not a good idea for any movie that isn't a parody of another movie.

Yeah, but the idea of them around a table playing poker sounds cool. I could see that happening.
