Shows that never "caught on" but you loved regardless

I just watched the first episode.

But Surface was great. Great story and hot ass Lake bell with that great rack.

But in a way they couldn't really have done a second season with the way it ended.

Does anyone know if Life and Times of Tim is getting a second season? I sure hope it caught on, that show is hilarious.

I also think it's the first animated HBO show since Spawn.

Life was canceled, sadly. I was really hoping since it was picking up to be interesting, but at least it had semi anti climax ending to it, and waiting for the 2nd season to be released since I already have the first.

Hope that helps ya out,
Ali

Steven Spielberg's Amazing Stories

I think it was only on TV for one season, maybe two. It had some really cool episodes with some really big stars. Patric Swayze, Gregory Hynes, Kiefer Sutherlund, Seth Green, just to name a few.

I think Journeyman should have been kept over Life (which I also enjoyed the first season of)

Now and again
early edition
arrested development
Free Ride
Due South

Mighty Orbots

I think that show only lasted one season.

You can find it on DVD.

There's an episode where a famous horror novelist says on a talk show that nothing supernatural frightens him. Then whenever he looks in a mirror he sees a creepy looking cloaked figure sneaking up behind him.

Another episode has a psychic (played by Gregory Hynes) accidentally seeing into the mind of a serial killer. He then spends the rest of the episode trying to find him.

A convict on Death Row (played by Patric Swayze) has the ability to heal by touch. He's unable to get a pardon and is executed (kinda like The Green Mile, except that Swayze actually deserved to be on Death Row and he didn't have his powers until after his conviction).

Seth Green plays a little boy who delights in tormenting his babysitters. One day a Jamaican babysitter with magical powers takes the job and hilarity ensues.

Charlie Sheen plays a marine during WWII. His platoon are on their way to a beach held by the Japanese. There's one young marine who everyone picks on, except for Charlie. The boat lands and they storm the beach. The one everyone picked on ends up saving the day. They find out later that he was killed, he never even made it off the boat.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
