Siege

I don't get how Sentry died. The guy got atomised by molecule man and brought himself back together. But the heroes managed to defeat him by.... hitting him really hard? Even that shouldnt (and not that I agree with the guy's power levels) have been enough to even momentarily knock him out of his void funk and into Bob mode.

Maybe Bob was fighting for control the entire time, and having a nuclear flying aircraft carrier dropped on the Void distracted him enough for Bob to temporarily take over.

I've always seen Captain America as Marvel's Superman, Thor as Marvel's Wonder Woman, and Iron Man is indeed Marvel's Batman.

Well of course no character is a carbon copy but it terms of similar roles. Thor looks like Superman and is the only one who has the dual identity like he does. I'd say Captain America is wonder woman only in he balances the other two. Thor is a god and Iron Man is pure science. Captain American is that middle ground. But no one is an exact copy which is why they are the Avengers and not the Justice league.

Thor Looks like superman? why Because he has a red cape?

Technically, Thor took out Robert, who willed the attack to go through in an act of suicide.

Essentially, it's the end of WWH all over again.

Thor took out a defenseless human. Way to go Goldilocks!
Not really a defenseless human. He was changing back into the Void right before everyone's eyes at the time. I agree, though, it's not like Thor single-handedly beat the Void; he saw the Void manifesting again and took quick action to kill Bob and the Void's shared body while it was still much more Bob than Void and vulnerable. Given that most of Bob's powers are tied in some way to the fact that he's bats*** crazy, it seems overwhelmingly likely that Bob was somehow complicit in his own death, either by willing his body to die or by fighting back the Void long enough to give Thor a chance to kill him while he was still mostly human.

Hopefully Sentry can stay dead; what a waste of a superhero. Good job, Marvel. /sarcasm

Well i liked #4 for what it's worth. I hope that Sentry being thrown at... Where he gets his powers, you know? Means that we cans ee him come back withouth this Void stuff.

Daredevil's cameo was downright stupid tho. :p The action was pretty cool, but you kinda wish you had more of this fight... Especially since Void's powers we're so hyped up.

If I recall didn't Stan Lee state that when Thor was create he was supposed to be Marvel's Superman?

Cause if you think about it both Thor and Superman are near equals in Strength. Both fly, have energy distance weapons. They had similar custom colors blue and red. Similar ethics.

Well s*** I had no idea Siege 4 can out yesterday.

On my way to buy it.

I really hope the sliver of Void inside Cyclops' mind died along with Bob. I doubt it, though.

It probably already withered and died because it couldn't keep up with Cyclops' own evilness. ;)

Void: "Sending an assassin to kill your own son, who you abandoned several times during his infancy? Making out with your mistress on your dead wife's grave? That's it, I'm outta here."

I've always seen Thor and Cap as different sides of Superman (Thor = power, Cap = symbolism), Iron Man as Batman, and no one as Wonder Woman...

I've always seen Cap as Batman(no real superpowers but exceptional at finding ways to win)
Thor as Superman(the power-houses)
Iron Man as Green Lantern(technological weapons)

Thor and Patriot were wrapped up in red Void-tentacles. A defenseless human can't do that.

Bob was hardly defenseless have a demon like that inside him is hardly defenseless, and Thor had no choice he HAD to kill Bob even after Thor said he wouldn't.

Because you know, this totally screams defenseless human.

The fact that Thor had those "surprise lines" at the end of the "KILL ME" page gave me the impression that Bob immediately turned back into Bob just as Thor was attacking him in self-defense. Thus making it a planned suicide.

Doesn't explain how he's gonna stay dead this time, but still; Thor had planned to hit the Void with that big blast, but Bob made it so that he hit Bob instead.

Makes sense, given that the charred corpse we see on the next page is clearly human and not super-giant-evil-crabby. A superhero version of "suicide by cop," basically.

Thor did throw him at the sun, isn't this the source of his power? So yeah we might see him making a comeback. Haha remember those Marvelman theories? :p

I haven't read Fallen Son yet so maybe it's been addressed there, but has Sentry found out what Bullseye did to Lindy yet? I remember him flying off to try to find her body but nothing after that.

Didn't Lindy already die before? I bet she really did die that first time and Bob was somehow willing her to pretend to be alive still. It sounds about crazy enough for something Sentry-related.
