Siege

I kind of don't want it to be Marvelman. We've already had an influx of top-tier powerhouses with the Sentry, Rulk, and Ragnarok, plus She-Hulk, the Thing, and Colossus going up in strength and Gladiator and Ares being treated like less of a joke. Getting a little crowded up there.

I was kind of hoping for the Void. Like, Osborn only revealed to the Cabal that the Void is really in control of the Sentry's body now, but he's keeping up the incompetent Sentry act for the masses.

God i hope Thor and Sentry fight...for the record...Thor would/should win. I hope he doesnt kill him though(i like Sentry better as a villain, inhabited by Void)

It'll probably wind up being Thor/Loki, Herc/Ares. Not sure who would take on the Sentry. He'd probably just find his way to a corner and wet himself.

Do you guys think Dark Reign/Siege will make a good storyline for MUA3?

yes, yes i do. i know what can wipe Sentry's tears away!!! Mjolnir!!!

Colossus going up in strength

What? Where!? When and where did Colossus beat anyone of relevance when it counted that got a lot of attention to his bad assery? Outside the 1970's? Because if it was recent, I missed it.

And Venom doesn't count. EVERYONE has beaten Venom. Hercules beat Venom. Invisible Woman beat Venom. A LIGHTER beats Venom.

Whedon's arcs. I figured they were making him less of a pushover in Uncanny still, but I don't really know.

Introduce whom?

I could have swore that I quoted a post talking about Marvleman possibly being Osborn's lackey

Not on my screen. But I agree, introducing a venerated character as another villain's lackey is generally not a good way to go.

I don't see the quote on my screen either. I just thought I did for some reason

Oh well.

Really, Siege could be an awesome way to reintroduce Marvelman and put him in the forefront of the Marvel Universe by having join the Avengers and launching a new Marvelman book for the Heroic Age. But instead they might make him Osborn's friggin henchman

i wonder if Cap will get a strength boost, while coming back. like the level of ultimate cap.

Yeah I understand that. Dark Reign and Siege are the names of the events. I was curious as to where the label Heroic Age came from.
Because when Marvel was presenting Siege at the Retailers Summit they then had a slide that said "The Heroic Age."

It sounds like a title on par with Dark Reign, The Initiative, and Decimation.

Why? I like that Cap is still relatively human while at the same time being counted among the best and most powerful of the superhumans.

But why make him any stronger at all? He's gotten by for decades with his normal strength (except for a few anomalies here and there). More power isn't always better. In Cap's case, part of why I like him is his perseverance in the face of overwhelmingly powerful opponents. How effective would that scene of lowly Captain America standing up to omnipotent Thanos in The Infinity Gauntlet have been if Cap could conceivably deck Thanos under normal conditions? It was more effective because the last man standing against Thanos with the Gauntlet was a guy who would've had no chance against him even if Thanos didn't have the Gauntlet, yet that guy still stood up and defied Thanos because it was the right thing to do.

..not saying it is going to happen....and you ARE right, but just my preference would be more like ultimates...not in attitude though.

And he got pimp slapped to death for his trouble. :(

lol like i said, just the powers..he isnt UBER, but Super-Soldier...ya know. i did like the ultimates for the first 2 volumes...after that...ugh.

I can't stand Millar's Ultimates. Most overrated piece of crap ever IMO.
